How am I objectively wrong? Wasn't the constitution amended inclining to give women the right to vote and to abolish slavery? These were done to improve society. I don't have a problem with improving society.

I just don't see it. I am not scared of the criminal element you think you are protecting me from. This is part of the pathology of a lot of gun owners, they look at themselves as somehow protectors of society. Considering that guns make a home less safe, I have no idea how someone could thing they are more safe with one.

Like you indicated before, a would without guns would be a better place. It's time to start taking a few bites out of the apple.

Those amendments were put in place because there was no Federal law stating whether or not those things could take place. You're trying to make it sound like the Constitution specifically allowed for slavery. It didn't, and you obviously knew that and got salty when called out on it.

Unfortunately dumb people and criminals have access to guns but that can be dealt with.

You're surrounded by people with guns. There might be people on your street with guns and you don't even know it. Guy across your street could have suppressed AR-15s with night vision scopes and ghillie suits.

You need to stop being so scared. Perhaps you should buy one and do some exposure therapy with it.
