Elections California bans voter ID

You need an ID to get a job, buy cigarettes or alcohol, get in a club, go to a dr's appt, pick up meds from pharmacy, etc etc

Everybody I know poor or not has an ID.
What do those things have to do with voting?

That is like saying you need to pass a drivers test to be able to buy/drive a car by yourself but you don't need to pass a "firearms" test to be able to buy/use firearms by yourself.

I don't live in California but it seems weird to me how people just don't have some form of identification. It's almost a requirement to just live day to day.

I just voted today in Nevada, the poll workers verified my name and signature and brought up my registration in seconds. No poll tax...I mean "voter ID" needed.

Murica!!!

P.S. - there were MAGAtards outside yelling at random people. Good times.

Well your picture has to be updated for one dumb dumb. So you think people keep the same picture on their Driver’s License for 50 years? You really are one of the stupidest people who’s ever walked the earth.

Okay even if it takes 2 hours sit there and wait like a normal person.
Goodness gracious, your anger towards me recently has been off the charts. I've renewed in person and online. Not every state is the same, ffs. Calm your menstrual tits. Your lipstick's showing.

Yeah but you’re not going to be allowed to constantly renew online and keep the same picture for 50 years. I apologize for calling you stupid but you’re asking people to fact check me on common sense.

Why? Theyre not expensive and even if you don’t have a car bus routes aren’t expensive either. It mostly comes down to they don’t want one just like they don’t want to work.
And what about people who work longer hours than the DMV but can't get any time off work because of what ever fucked up reason their boss has?

Setting aside projections and accusations of political partisanship, isn’t it just common sense that you have to produce identification for certain procedures and practices in society?

While on vacation in Italy, can I vote in their elections if I claim my name is super Mario?

Every Mexican I know and believe me I know a multitude of them all have phones and one can renew a license or California ID on the phone.

I dunno how Italy's elections work. But here, we have areas designated for voting and they have a list of names set. If you give a name not listed there, they will usher you to a provisional ballot. The provisional ballot analyzes the name, address and voter registration logs. If the name is a duplicate then they will ask for further ID such as voter registration card or affirmation of address.

The idea that ID requirements unfairly target minorities is incredibly insulting to minorities. I'm fairly sure they know how to get an ID. There is only one reason the dems don't want ID requirements and even Harris voters are smart enough to figure it out.
