Alright let's get a few things out of the way.
>are you arguing attraction can be changed
I wasn't lol but it actually can and does all the time however that's completely irrelevant, your evidence on "conversion therapy" leaves a lot to be desired to the point it's about as anecdotal to my cousin who's gone from straight to homosexuality but like I said irrelevant
Being a

phile is not a sexual orientation, sexual orientation pretains to gender, being a

phile is a sickness of the mind either brought about due to a natural mental disorder or trauma. These people are wierd differently much like a pyschopath, while some are like sociopaths and devlope into

philes.
These people don't need to be "converted" they need to be REHABILITATED, the fact that you think being a

phile is a sexual orientation or can be treated as one just shows you don't truly understand the disease, being a

phile is a mental illness, those who obtain this mental illness by trauma can and most certainly have been rehabilitated and those who have it naturally should come forward.
I'm not arguing that "

philes" should be around children, but you know the revolation is? They are, they're around children all the time because they exist withing our community and we have no way to tell who they are because they go unidentified until they actually harm a child or get caught with child pornography. I'm saying in order to keep children safe we allow

philes to take inactive in seeking proper help without fear of being identified. It's a lot better than waiting until they actually harm a child and then just throwing them in prison.
I mean seriously you put a lot of words in my mouth and basically attempted to repeate a whole bunch of things I didn't say that had nothing to do with my suggestion, but at the end of the day I can some up what your stance in one sentence.
"I'm disgusted by

philes and can't accept them receiving help for their disorder so I'm going to allow them to linger on until they hurt a child then I can sit online and advocate for them to be stoned."
