If the ability to reproduce is the sole measure of whether a relationship is"normal and functional", then you have a point. I would say it isn't, but we all have our opinions. In the end though, you probably realize that same sex relationships are here to stay, and holding on to the outdated opinion that they are "abnormal" will only make it harder to adapt to an evolving society. It doesn't affect your life, and you can't change it, so why not just accept it?

I'm an old fart who doesn't love all the rapidly changing aspects of our society either, but I've learned to save my disgust for things that warrant it, i.e. the dumbing down of a lot of people in the US, the increasingly dangerous world political climate, the continued ignorance toward our planet, etc. What consenting adults do behind closed doors is trivial.

Homosexuality exists within biology, and most assuredly has a evolutionary reason for existing. There are numerous well substantiated theories as to why this is the case.

It's the anti-gay people that are putting their social and/or religious views ahead of biology.

The real question is: WTF does sexual behavior have to do with running a country? Nothing. For example: I don't care that Trump screwed a washed up porn star--I think that's gross, but I don't care, and it does not affect how he leads. I do judge him for doing so while married with a young baby at home, that's dishonest and selfish which are not traits I want in a leader.

Well, likely because they are still courting conservative voters for the primaries. Anyone who supports him likely knows what he is. Conservatives likely see him as more likable than Sanders or Biden, when judging him by his cover. That wouldn't work with a "vote for me to prove you're not homophobic" strategy.
