Media Buckley to Ariel: When fighters come on your show, you try to use us as weapons against the UFC with your platform, setting us up with questions

Lot of truth right here.

People bitch about more or less shitty reporting in MMA and Ariel by far is one the most in depth and has no issues what so ever asking any question. Yes, someone question stir up shit. But isn't that kind of the point also in a good interview.
I'd rather Morgan ask another "shitty question" about a fighter's gameplan and how they planned to deal with X or Y from their opponent than Ariel asking Frankie Edgar how he feels about his coach's son dying.

Nick not going to the press conference was the biggest story of that fight and what everyone wanted to know, Dana was on his shit because he wanted to hide it under the carpet and pretend it never happened, plenty of other reporters in there to ask "is this your biggest fight yet", " how was your training camp".

That is just an example of Ariel doing his job and Dana trying to strong arm the press into just asking bullshit queations no one cares about.
It was the biggest story of the previous conference and here's Nick here for this one and Nick's obviously not going to talk about it. There's no secret "my aunt died and I was with my family" or "I had to go to ER for staph" actual story behind Nick not showing up. We are all aware that Nick simply hates media, and in fact has specifically called out Ariel many times, and just didn't want to be there.

Just as we all know Ariel simply wanted Nick to storm out of this press conference too.

There is just doing your job and there is creating your job. Ariel does the latter.

Ariel asks tough questions. He may be a weasel, but at least he will press the issue and not toss softballs to everyone like Iole or the other clowns Dana loves. He's got his faults, but there's a reason every big interview is done through him when it comes to MMA. It's fair to have a love/hate relationship with Helwani, but he's pretty damn good at his job and is easily the best MMA journalist around. He also stands up for MMA in other settings and genuinely cares about the sport.

You can see it in those Rampage interviews if you watch more than clips. Quinton will give him shit, but at the end, it's all love between the two. I would rather have a guy asking questions, doing interviews like him more than someone asking innocuous questions no one really cares about. In this interviews he directly addresses Buckley who basically refuses to answer him or engage him after the accusation. People just love to hate everyone here.
Yep, and like usual, Buckley couldn't even being up one example of what he was talking about, I think some fighters not even realize how many people wouldn't have ever listened to one interview by them, or got to know them if it wasn't for Ariel having them on.

It was still the biggest story and what everyone was talking about on social media regarding thay fight, like I said Ariel asked the question everyone waa tuning in to know, arguing otherwise is silly if you were around this place or the underground during that build up.

And funny thing about Nick, before his return, he actually went to Ariel for one of his few interviews during his hiatus, shows how much he can't stand him.

I was literally at the fight. Don't ask me whether or not I was around back then Mr 2021 account.

Ariel wasn't asking cause he gave a shit or actually expected Nick to answer. He knew Nick wouldn't answer, or would go on a tirade about dumb media questions and how they piss him off when he's just there to fight, or would just get up and leave.

We all know this. Quit pretending otherwise that Ariel actually wanted to know why Nick hadn't shown up. He was asking for the reaction, not for Nick's answer. He does Nightcrawler journalism.

Then you are simply lying, it was the biggest story all fight week, and whether Ariel actually wanted to know or not is irrelevant that is his job not a hobby, he ask what he believes his audience wants to know, and everyone in the MMA world wanted to know what happened with Nick.

This guy is always right, always knows more than you, is always condescending and is always gobbling Jon Jones' balls. Some things never change.

He stated that the only reason Ariel was getting big interviews was due to ESPN, despite him not actually being employed by ESPN for the majority of his career. He then said it was because the channel has millions of followers, not giving Ariel credit for the fact that he's a big part of why it has that many subscribers. We're to the point that it isn't worth engaging him.

Strong suspicions he's a paid poster. He never criticizes UFC and always, always, advocates in whatever is in their interest.

It's not my fault you guys hate the sport you spend years and thousands of internet posts on.

Por Que No Los Dos?

Gets paid to go on the show and call Ariel a whiny baby. Buckley wins both ways. Plus hes a man named Ariel.

I hate to break it to you, but a lot of us watch more than just the UFC. Hate the sport? Hardly. I probably digest more MMA than 99% of people on earth. I'm just not always gargling the UFC's balls, mark. You should try it. Dana is that you? Anyway, moving on.

Lying about what? Nobody at all remotely thought we were getting an answer from Nick, just like we never did. He'd skipped press conferences and media before this, did so again afterwards, cause he simply hates doing media.

Everybody knew though that Ariel didn't give a shit about that and just wanted Nick's reaction, hoping he'd leave this one too. He's a Nightcrawler journalist who makes the news instead of covering it.

I don't care what you do, honestly. But anyone who pays attention to your posts can notice a pattern and realize that you always defend the UFC and whatever they are pushing. Whatever.

Questions for Plato why people care about what the only meaningful organization does.
