What's weird is Buffer seems gheeyy as fuck. Like the least manly dude in the world. The opposite of a fighter.

The way he talks, the way he dresses, his voice inflections, just freaking gay.

I think Joseph Martinez is an excellent ring announcer.

Martinez has a great speaking voice, he doesn't overdo it, and he just makes me want to watch a fight ... withOUT making me turn my head in disgust (or laugh my ass off — as sometimes Buffer is literally so ridiculous, that it's impossible to believe a man would actually act like that).

Buffer does his thing cause it’s his style. I agree maybe at first it’s a bit over the top but it’s something you get used to. If Buffer ruins your experience watching a ufc event then you’re probably just a miserable person that piss and moans about anything.

There is other UFC personal that are even more annoying and you see them more on the product. Joe Rogan has been horrendous for years now, DC has always been an irritating commentator. Jon Anik has actually improved but at first he was unbearable. Dana White is Dana White. Bruce has always been the same. It’s not like he jumps and screams during the fight to distract you.

The best part of re-watching old fights:

Being able to fast forward Bruce's non sense and endless intros. Rewatching a full event and skipping Bruce's bullshit = saving more or less an hour of your time, to do something else.


Joe is way better imo. Straight to the point, no bullshit and stupid jumping around. I'd be happy if he replaced Bruce Buffer

Bruce Buffer is literally a b-level wannabe imitation version of Michael Buffer. That's how he got the gig and what he will always be.
He needs to go, and should have gone at least 10 years ago but Dana probably doesn't have the heart to tell him.
