Earlier this year I got sucked into a Michael Buffer rabbithole (that's what she said) and I realized that he was basically singing during his announcement, specifically the "RUUUMBLE."

I was somewhat astonished. Dude would probably have a great singing voice.

he always has been. he has been way over the top for so many years. he used to not be. he used to be subdued, like his brother. but for whatever reason, he decided to scream. it's a gigantic turn-off, mainly because it became more about himself than the fighters. he completely overenunciates fighters' names, and makes it all about himself and his voice.

i've liked the guy from bellator a lot more. michael c. williams i think is his name. he doesn't go over the top. yeah, he does some more himself, but it's not just about him. he's a nice medium in my mind.
