What I want? that doesn't mean shit. Impeachment is a dark stain..last forever.. you better have concrete proof to overthrow a democratically elected president.

A political opponent who isn't the head of state, but potentially might be. I think it's kind of a grey area, personally. It might be character assassination, but not physical. And I'm not sure how it's an attempt at overthrowing a government that isn't even in power.

I kept hearing treason on the radio, but the word just doesn't fit.

Yeah, its probably not under US laws.
In my personal opinion, this would be treason and he would be executed in the morning NO TRIAL needed.
But then again that's one of the reasons why we have systems in place is so people like can't make laws anymore.

I don't think I would have handled it any better, assuming I run in those circles. A guy who knows a guy I know tells me he has some interesting information? I take that meeting. If it's bs, it's only cost me the time for the meeting.

I take bs meetings every week and I'm no one. Everyone has a deal, an investment, a great idea. 99% of them are crap but you take just in case this 1 is the real deal.

Odds are extremely high that this meeting was likely recorded by the Russians involved here. If Goldstone is a Russian agent setting up Donnie Jr, then the lawyer involved like likely involved in the plot as well. She was probably wired - meaning the Russians have exactly what was said and by whom during that meeting. If Donnie Jr or Kushner said anything incriminating during the meeting the Russians now have the ammo to blackmail them.

What I find strange is that they make know its from the Russian government.
They could have set up the meeting without mention that and just sort of implied it.
That would have made me suspicious I think.

If the truth is truth than what of it? It'd be different if Russia had set up the criminal and then acted as an agent to ruin her. She did it on her own. Try not to be so corrupt and then maybe things like this wouldn't surface.
