Breakdown of Ngannou open boxing session

Couldn't disagree more man.
I expect as good of a performance from Francis as Fury allows...

The man faced Wilder who imo, surpasses Francis with ease in terms of knockout power, and judging by this workout has about 10x the handspeed

It almost looked like Francis just got done running 5 miles before he did his open workout. I think all of this is staged so that we see a slow inexperienced pro boxer being shown how to box by Mike Tyson, then on fight night Ngannou looks like the freakish beast that he is.

Everyone want to compare floyd vs conor to this fight. This fight is different due to the size, strength and natural athleticism of Ngannou. Fury won't be able to bully him around like he did against Wilder.

This is a dangerous fight for Fury. Ngannou can hurt guys with short arm punches and it will make no difference with bigger gloves on. Just imagine Fury in the corner with big Francis laying hooks into the body. I think people are going g to find out soon.

Whether this was at the tail end of his workout or not Ngannou's stamina has always been really poor even by MMA standards. Going 10x3 rounds in boxing against Fury is a different animal altogether than going 5x5 against a guy like Gane. Realistically Ngannou will only have a small window of time to stop Fury. If he hasn't by the midway point then it's over for him. Once that tank runs empty it's a wrap.

I don't think Ngannou cares now about money but more about not having regret to the one thing he always wanted to do, have to remember it was his first coach that talked him into MMA.
True.
I'd imagine just the time training w/ his idol was worth it already.
Many younger fans don't realize how mythical Iron Mike Tyson was. The original baddest man on the planet.

Boxing gloves really take away the speed of mma fighters. I'm sure Francis could hit fury in the head in small gloves, but I doubt he'll land a punch in 16's
They take away the speed of ANY fighter. There's nothing magical about MMA fighters that it only impacts them. Imagine what Fury would do to Francis with the increased hand speed of smaller gloves.

It's not dangerous in the slightest and you have no idea what you're talking about.

Even if Ngannou hurts Fury once boxing fans WILL NEVER hear the end of it lol

1) You should never judge an open workout.

2) Wilder literally has one punch--a straight right. That's all Fury had to worry about and he still went down 4 times. Francis straight right isn't nearly as hard or as fast as Wilder's but everything he else throws is better and more dangerous than Wilder.

That said, Fury smokes him via movement. Francis is way to heavy on his feet.

No, it isn't. Francis would have to train for 5 years to become a can.

Sorry, but the whole pro boxer always beats the mma fighter got thrown out the window after seeing mma fighters like Anderson Silva, Mike Perry and Artem Lobov put it on pro boxers. Even Derrick Lewis beats the crap out of pro boxers in sparring sessions.

Silva lost to Jake Paul. Perry was KO'd when he tried to box. Bare knuckle boxing isn't boxing.

Silva beat Chavez Jr in a boxing match. Perry beat Michael Seals in a boxing fight.

Gloves won't matter when Francis lands his punches. He may gas and take the beating of his life, but he's a legitimate threat to Fury early in this fight. You may end up looking like a fool.

Chavez Jr is the biggest waste of space in boxing. His cornermen were telling him how bad Silva was during the fight, but it's Jr. He doesn't give a shit.

Perry? Not even can level.

Want to bet on Fury Francis?

First punch LOL

Fury is 300 lbs and has been declining for several years and isn't in shape. That said Ngannou looks horrible. MMA and boxing just aren't the same thing. Floyd Mayweather punches like a woman and you could tell in his fight with McGregor he was actually throwing heavier shots.

That said HW all bets are off Ngannou has a decent chance(10-20%) depending on how he holds up to getting hit.

Most likely he gets crushed though but would love to see the gypsy dosser go down...not as much now that the usyk fight is apparently being made.

There are many more examples the other way of elite MMA fighters boxing or sparring with mediocre pros and looking mediocre. Seals beat Perry and lost a terrible decision and as far as boxing he is a washed up journeyman.

Same idea with artem Paulie, a true Featherfist 20 lbs lighter, washed up and he still won pretty easy and was on wrong end of a bad decision.

Don't get me wrong though there are some MMA fighters who can box, but those aren't good examples.
