And people like to shit on Jones for using his reach and teep spam kicks wear his opponents out but completely ignores why he still have a granite chin after 10 years.
 
Thought about it but theyre kind of outliers too; not that they both havent suffered ridiculous beatings but their chins are so insane plus the fact their style of boxing in mma is kind of unorthodox helped both mostly avoid the sudden overnight drop off

Nick just got old and took too much time off, Nate has never been elite but he is still somewhat competitive despite his age catching up to him too

I think maybe even a lack of brain matter to begin with = theres less to rattle when they get hit? Been my running theory lol

I really, really don't mean this to sound insulting, but maybe it's been hard to track the progress of CTE with those two because they've always sounded like they have a speech impediment. Especially Nate.
 
Garbrandt showed amazing head movement in the Dom fight...and lost it crossing the street somewhere sir lol.
He showed many amazing things in that fight that we, unfortunately, have yet to see ever after. It's almost like he was bred for that fight and outlived his purpose after winning it.
