Books across your computer desk

Bought a box of westerns at a yardsale a few years ago, one was JT Edson and a Floating Outfit story with Dusty Fog, as ya know great stuff, a short little cat who knows martial arts in the old west AND a fast draw, gotta love it. That was about 30 Edson books ago.

Edson is a Brit, I didn't know that,

Yup , he wrote like 150 or so of them .

There's several different series but they mostly connect up.

Dusty Fog as a Confederate Captain during the American Civil War.

Dusty and the Floating Outfit.

Ole Devil ( Dusty's Uncle )

Mark Counter

Waco

The later ones are a bit crap , as are the rewrites .

Easy way to tell , is The Kid's horse called the N word or something like Lightning ?

150, I didn't know he had that many, I actually have 42 of them. As ya know fun reads.

Mark Counter the Hoss, only good looking, ha~~~~

I need to kinda look for that order you mentioned,

I think it goes

Ole Devil 1820s ? Tommy Okasi , Dusty's martial arts instructor features heavily in these .
Civil War ( Dusty and Red Blaze )
Floating Outfit ( throw Mark Counter, Waco , Calamity Jane in there too )
Alvin Fog ( set after WW1 I think with a relative of Dusty Fog)
Rockabye County books ( set in 60s I think with a relative of Mark Counter)

Might be a few stand alone novels and the do overs , you can see which ones you have, there's a blurb at the front talking about modern measurements and gun sizes in the do overs ..

See if you can get the older ones where the Kid's horse is called N***** as although it's obviously racist the books do read better .

Mostly history books. A few from when I was younger, such as Dangerous Animals! and Amazing Insects! I also have Frankenstein and Moby Dick but saving those for when I'm old and bored.

My computer desk is filled to the brim with stacks of books. Got a laptop when the PC went up like 2 years ago and just been using as bookshelf ever since.
