People need to stop judging other's by their skin color. Racism against white people is becoming the norm now and that goes completely against the teachings of MLK Jr. Don't be racist, don't judge people by their skin color, problem solved. Actual racist (against black) people are in such a tiny minority and it is completely unacceptable sociably in our culture. It doesn't help the cause to label all white people racist because that in itself is being racist. Fuck racist people (this includes you if you push that racist white privilege bullshit).

I think you are the one who is uninformed on just how radical blm is and what they are trying to accomplish. I gave them a chance, did my own research rather than just seeing some little snippets on mainstream media and have come to the conclusion that I can never support them. Its already been pointed out to you that they are in fact marxists. Now I'm going to point out to you that they in fact do want to abolish police. Patrice cullors has admitted that she eventually does want the police to cease to exist

“police” as a concept will never be gone. there is right and there is wrong. people will always want justice when they are wronged. the means of accomplishing that will only change forms. there’s always been a type of “police” and there is still law enforcement in areas without police.

she wants to abolish police in their current form. i have no issue with that.

I'm very aware. You are misinformed. You dont even know my stance on BLM.
I'm not a huge fan. I dont agree with their tactics at times. I'm not a fan of mantra or supporting all black causes and cases as if they are the same.
However, they are taking action and fighting against a specific REAL problem. They have a major political party willing to make laws for them to an extent.
They have a legit point and cause. But just because I'm not a fan of certain things they do doesn't mean I litterally make shit up about them and totally bite into some of their crazy non plausible ideas.
Again if you put your head in the sand and don't fix or even acknowledge the problem....defunding....and replacing seems like where this will end up.

MLK's message and politics were a lot more radical than the majority of the orgs who are part of the BLM movement and about 3/4 of this thread are calling the entire movement Marxist. So yeah, he'd be called a Marxist and shit on as a race hustler by these same people.

white privilege is real. your assumption that racism against blacks barely exists is proof of that. if you regularly spent any length of time around people of color, you would know racism, at least verbally expressed, is quite common. i'm going to guess you live somewhere overwhelmingly white which props up and further promotes your white privilege.

He'd likely have said similar things to what he said in the 50s and 60s regarding the class structure of the United States and racism (and their close interconnectedness). And then he'd be called a Marxist and a race hustler.

Now let me ask you this. This is a small business owner who thinks like that. How do you think he would treat a black customer with that type of hidden mentality? You think they are going to get the same service? You think he would hire a black that applied for a job?
