Yes and no. He's saying his contracted pay is not enough to fight the best fighter in the world, but is acceptable to fight bums, and he would prefer to fight bums instead for the same pay. Which means he's ok with the pay if it's an easier fight. It also implies he would want more money if he were offered a title shot, despite signing his contract for the pay level he is at. It's some diva shit. He's not in a position to play that, and is hypothetically giving up his chance to put himself in that position by opting for the bum fight over the highest profile fight possible. Shit's weak. Bad move. It's not smart business, not admirable, and not doing him any favors. We all know Uncle Dana favors the guys who will fight anybody, anywhere, anytime, and who clearly want to progress their value as both a fighter and a draw. Diva shit from a no name (to non Sherdoggers and fighters) is not the way to up your value and get more money.
