I'm not convinced Jones does well at hw. Not sure why so many others are. He has no power to keep these guys off of him. His wrestling has looked bad ever since he got off the gear. Which means he's ok with the pay if it's an easier fight. It also implies he would want more money if he were offered a title shot, despite signing his contract for the pay level he is at. It's some diva shit. He's not in a position to play that, and is hypothetically giving up his chance to put himself in that position by opting for the bum fight over the highest profile fight possible. Shit's weak. NO MATTER WHO HE FIGHTS. If he wins, then he has a case to try for more, but why would that amount change based on his opponent? He's not the draw. He's not a champion. He's got no leverage. He needs to go out and get it. Dana favors hungry fighters who put on a good show and want to fight everyone, as often as possible, and who want to be the best. He also favors fighters who bring in shitloads of PPV buys and fans. Blaydes' best chance at getting to this position would be to ask for the Jon Jones fight and either beat him, or put on an impressive performance. This would raise his stock with both the fans and the company better, higher, and faster than anything else. You know this. You just want to play your Rage Against The Machine gimmick, and try to convince everybody you care about fighter pay. Be real, man.
