He was a great idea guy. Tremendous in coming up with an interesting concept. The execution was sometimes fucked up. I don't know of another other other than maybe Steven King that has so many wtf endings. This is coming from a Philip K. Dick fan. I probably though think about more of Dick's stories than other stuff that is better written because he brings up a lot of interesting original ideas. Philip K. Dick was a sci-fi guy first, writer second.

I have "Do Robot Dream of Electric Sheep" the comic by Boom. It is excellent. They have been talking about turning Flow My Tears The Police Man Said, into a movie. I am still waiting. It was an interesting story.

Personally I found the movie (original) better than the book. The book definitely brought more clarity to the movie but I just didn't love the book. Maybe my expectations were too high...

Anyways I'm pumped for this movie and even more so after hearing the initial reviews are solid.

Just got my tickets for Thursday and the anticipation is really starting to kick in. Blade Runner has been in my top five favourite movies my entire adult life and I'm really loyal to that story, so I'm pretty nervous and trying to keep my hopes reasonable. There's so many ways they could fuck up a sequel and so few ways they could get it right, and the trailer left me a little lukewarm. God damn it I'm nervous. It feels like when your favourite fighter is about to fight and you're just so invested in them winning.

Haven't been to the cinema in years but just might drag my ass out to see this

Does DLXXX have a review in this thread?

This director is awesome that's what really gets me excited for this film. If he nails this film it should be epic

there needs to be a fast forward button on life i cant wait any longer!!<17>

Also since dlxx hasn't posted it want to mention there is a new spoiler trailer available. That apparently has a spoiler that they asked reviewers not to mention lol.

You seen any of the new Bryan Cranston series "Philip K Dicks Electric Dreams"? It's an anthology series like Black Mirror with an all star cast): Steve Buscemi, Ser Davos, Terrence Howard's, Annan Paquin, Greg Kinnear and Rob Stark.

I have seen the original only 1 time. I liked it, but not really the plot- I would prefer it to be more detailed, with more insight of replicant uprising, what happened in the worlds other then Earth etc. But the vision of the miserable cyberpunk future was excellent. Very atmospheric. And Rutger Hauer is dominant AF. Also, I watched the version with the voice in the back.

You should watch the Final Cut before watching Blade Runner 2049 imo.

Same here. I really enjoyed the first Blade Runner, but have yet to re-watch it. Gonna do that sometime this week before I see the new film this Saturday.

But does I has to watch the other 2047 sequels before watching BLADE RUNNER 2049? Wich virgins?
