The music and atmosphere look pretty good so far. (Even though this is a very short clip)

YEAHHHHHHHHHHH

2049 sounds dumb as fuck.

Sounds like Nvidias attempt at the latest graphics card.

when I sequel was announced I said meh but they really got the right director and look to be doing it right

i'm also glad they didnt go too futuristic on tech - at least not on first glance.

why ryan gosling tho :\

I am sick of this hollywood tendency to just shove a high profile actor in every movie made today
then its like the movie focuses on that actor (proving that he can indeed act) instead of the plot itself

Compelling trailer. I like the continuity of everything - soundtrack, atmosphere, visual setting. Ive been stoked for this one since Villeneuve (whatever) was announced as the director. Can not wait.

Warner Bros. has released the first teaser trailer for Blade Runner 2049. Directed by Denis Villeneuve (Arrivial, Prisoners, Sicario), the film stars Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Jared Leto, Ana de Armas, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Sylvia Hoeks, Lennie James, and Dave Bautista and Jared Leto. Blade Runner 2049 hits theaters on October 6, 2017.

Synopsis: Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Note: This will be merged with the official Blade Runner 2049 thread after a few days.

Looks good.

I've kinda lost faith in Scott as of late tho. They better have a terrificly well written script here. None of that Prometheus bullshit.

Cautiously optimistic. Looks like it has captured the same feel as the 1982 original.

I'm down.

I'll go ahead and create an echo chamber and say they had me at Villeneuve. Sicario was awesome. Arrival was solid, too.

Denis Villenueve is phenomenal. Everything he's churned out has been fantastic. both in story, style, and substance...

This looks quite incredibly well done
