Social Black Woman Blames White People For Racism In Asia

I assume the female who wrote this has a white boyfriend. A lot of the race-baiting chicks who whine about white privilege have white boyfriends or husbands. Even Don Lemon is married to a white dude.

It’s so ridiculous that it’s pitiful

It's more simple than that. The people she encountered probably got their biases about black people (women in particular) from western media portrayals. I think this is what she trying to say, but she did it in a way that was going to automatically disqualify her with a lot of, er, audiences that don't normally consume HuffPo.

Oooohhhh nooooooo

Shirley, you can’t be serious.

I have no idea how I'm supposed to quantify racism, but I'm open to suggestions.

You should really get that worked out before you start down these types of lines of assertions, don't you think?

She is right sort of...Im sure whites spread BS propaganda about blacks all over the world....However, now, alot of Black Pop female stars are doing exactly that, creating a "false narrative of innate promiscuity and hypersexuality".

As for the idea of Asian countries importing Western African Women because they find em super hot or think they will be great @ sex, is mostly likely bullshit....They are only importing them because they are poor and can take advantage of them.

I bet you, most of these Asian dudes, would rather fuck a white chick but it's probably not as easy for sex traffickers to do....From what I seen most Asian dudes prefer white chicks.

Race based discrimination in India where dark = bad comes from the caste system which has been around for 1000s of years. I always hate these American dickheads who go to other countries and apply our logic to their culture and history. Ironically it's quite racist to do that, basically you remove all agency and self determination from these people and turn them into drones who can't form an individual thought without the evil wypipo authoring it.

I also welcome her employing physical violence on me. I'm ready.

That woman is sexxxy. Unfortunately, I am not man enough to please a woman like that in the bedroom. She needs more loving than I can give her. With that being said, I would still try my best if given an opportunity.

I think you need some big dick pills and some trt in your life there superchief

Never read Chaucer? Negative sexual views of Africans have predated Western media by a few hundred centuries

Of course she does. Liberals have been programmed to think this way for a while. If you question it then you're also a racist.

(that Blood and Thunder guy might be surprised that one one of the most prominent postcolonial feminist scholars writing right now actually agrees with him on that).

Why would that surprise me? She one of those lunatic white feminists that wears a hijab?

It's not an assertion, just an alternative hypothesis. This is something that by its nature can not be easily or cleanly measured.
And to be clear, when I say "western media", I don't necessarily mean recent fictional TV shows and movies, but also news, music, literature, etc from the last 100+ years that have depicted black people. Given enough exposure, those things are going to have an effect on your biases, consciously or unconsciously, especially if you live in a region where you would not have normally interact with different people.

I'm guessing you could draw a line from Chaucer or his contemporaries to modern media if you were so inclined.

No. She's an older Indian woman trained in the Western intellectual tradition. She gets a wee bit pissed that colonialism is treated as an exclusively Western phenomenon in modern discourse as that in itself is a form of white-washing, when her own homeland of India has an internal colonial history that far predates the Europeans. Part of Eurocentrism is attributing everything to European influence when it's not. It may be well meaning, but it's a subtle form of neocolonial thinking which is whitewashing every bit as much as we know Europeans liked to do in the past.

The assumptions made by the OP's article, and Higus doubling down on it, is just another form of neocolonial arrogance as people immediately, and without evidence, assume "Europeans are the true cause of this Asian practice" - just slipping white people in there, the true origin of any activity, casually wiping away a history that can explain a phenomenon without referencing white people. It's fine to make the claim - when you can prove it. Before actually having proof you're just whitewashing another culture, however well meaning you are in doing so.

Had to laugh at this HuffPo article.

Lady travels to Southeast Asia for a year. During that time she feels looked at, gets propositioned, asked if she sells drugs, and had the cops go through her shit on a train. Blames whitey.

I personally think this is some ignorant shit on her part and race-baiting on the publisher's part. Anybody wanna educate me to the contrary? Is it a popular viewpoint among black folks that white people are to blame for Asians demonstrating prejudice in their homelands?

Oh yeah...

Careful though, gents. Look at her the wrong way and she might get violent.
I think the point she is getting at is that in the 21st century there is a certain global monoculture that has emerged from the West and it carries with it certain implicit attitudes and assumptions, one of which is so called white supremacy. So that even a country that is majority non-white is influenced by this European monoculture through something like the media.

I think there is some truth to it but Asians probably would've been racist either way. Heck they're also racist to white people
