It will never go below that number again....I've been waiting, refreshing my screen, but that's not happening manI got in on etherium at $590 so I’m really happy with that one.... planning on getting more if drops below $1k
dude, keep throwing money when you canI just bought like $100 each of a ton of different alt coins. I'm guessing most of them will be worth $0 but who knows. In 10 years maybe 1 or 2 of them hit it big and get me 10s of thousands in return.
Might pick up $50 worth of a bunch more just so I hold pretty much every crypto coin out there.....lol. I have no idea about them but hey, it's worth an outside shot and throwing $3k into it and waiting to see what happens is worth it to me.

Do you, or others, think it's better to focus on the big boys like BTC, ETH, etc. Or with "play" money just toss a wide net and buy up pretty much every type you can find? I mean, I'm only looking at small amounts of money on the unknown crytos, but you never know if one of the 30 small ones ends up hitting big. My $50 goes to $1000!
I guess do you put 100% into the top 4-5 crptos or would you do say 80-90% in the top cryptos and the rest in the penny stocks of the crypto world?
More likely my $50 goes to zero, but that's why it's called gambling......err...speculative investing.
I'm no financial advisor but I tend to split my money between a number of crypto and regular stocks. it doesn't hurt to start any kind of portfolio, even if it's smallDo you, or others, think it's better to focus on the big boys like BTC, ETH, etc. Or with "play" money just toss a wide net and buy up pretty much every type you can find? Your portfolio should reflect how much risk you want to take, you work that out yourself by research.

Thank you both! I should have clarified, I have a bunch of stocks and funds and stuff where a vast majority of my investments sit. At least 95% is in traditional investments I would say.
This ~5% in crypto is where I'm willing to take a ton of risk. I might lose it all, but I might hit it big. So of my "risky" investments I guess I'm just trying to figure whether to spread across like 30 cryptos or keep to the safer well known ones.
Something I need to figure out on my own after my own research. Just kind of curious what other people do. All crypto eggs in 1 basket or spread it aroiund?
