I just built 2 a PC and a hackintosh from scratch. 64GB of ram is the big difference maker and that's only $250

Go AMD CPU and the price really drops. the one thing I am anal about is fan noise and cases but i found that the more expensive Corsair Q275 case was no quieter than the Corsair 100.

Not bad, so I made over $60 of profit on a $120 investment.

Cashed out just to be safe lol. Can't imagine it going much higher.

Going to wait for it to dip. Hopefully it goes back down to to $900-$1000 CAD and I'll put in a bigger amount next time and see where it goes.

the RTX 3070 is about the same performance as a 2080 for 1/3 the price and much less power consumption.

I have to say I'm surprised at the proliferation in-silico graphics operations for general computation. i did some work on one of the first computation projects (before NVidia even existed as a company) to use graphics hardware and never would have imagined this is where it would end up.

Current gen GPU's are impossible to buy new anywhere. You have to buy second hand from a scalper, at a marked up price. Who knows when you'll be able to get one

i have a friend who has heavily invested everything he has into bitcoin, been chatting with him about it these past few weeks obviously.

have you heard of 'plan b' stock to flow model which shows it hitting 100k this year. the projected model is scarily on track.
