This post didn’t pop up for me, so now I get the “duck” comment. dei is promoting diversity, which is not white males in any business or enrollment. I should have included straight Asians as well, because they are negatively affected by dei initiatives and affirmative action which was ruled on by the scotus in 2023. And as for listing a company, only you would be dumb enough to think they are going to advertise this? But companies have been sued, successfully, for firing white people only to hire minorities. Diversity, equity, and exclusion programs, by definition have to look for minorities, thus excluding straight, white males. Coke put on a program for dei years ago that was titled the problem of whiteness (or something like that) and I have sat through dei trainings where white people are told to “yield their power and voice” to allow minorities to have a chance to speak. In fact, in one such training, after telling us this, the presenter called me out for being quiet and I told her that I was yielding my voice as instructed. I have been part of dei initiatives to attract and hire specifically black police officers and the problem we ran into was qualifications and disqualifications (criminal records and drug use). I am not against diversity, I am against discrimination in the name of diversity.
Below, you will find several links. The first one is 50 companies being sued because their dei initiatives were unfair and harmful to white males. One is for the healthcare company that fired a white guy so they could hire a minority and got sued for 4 million, so it is happening. And you will find an article blasting white people for being against dei. And finally, when you type in dei harming white people, you get dozens of results on how to not leave out white males in dei initiatives-proving that dei discrimination is the default setting where companies seek to only promote or hire minorities first and as a priority. I found many articles, one for specifically how to counter white men complaining about dei and what to say to them.
