Biggest robbery? GSP/Hendricks or Jones/Reyes?

gsp over hendricks for sure. gsp stumbled on the feet a few times from the punches hendricks was landing, and gsp was in real trouble. what did gsp say after that fight? something along the lines of hendricks, "hitting like a mac truck", if i remember right. in both fights, i think the loser got screwed. hendricks for sure landed more damage than reyes landed on jones.

Yeah I had hendricks 1,2 and 4. But round 1 was super close
Thats the thing though -- everyone agrees on rounds 2-5 (2-4 for Hendricks, 3-5 GSP).

The 1st was razor thin close. It really depends on what your criteria are. I had it Hendricks initially and rewatching it I have it GSP.

You cant (I dont mean you specifically but people in general) say that a close fight is a robbery just because of the guy status with an aura of invincibility.

GSP had that, Jones has that.

People are not used to see guys like Jones, GSP, Khabib, DJ lose round. Theyre not used to it. So as soon as theres a close fight, its an automatically robbery.

Hendricks made GSP feel like a human that night just like Gary did against Shavkat. And thats ok.

Most people who think it was a robbery haven't

When you watch it a few times, looking at each strike in slow motion, you realize how little Reyes actually hit him.

Neither was a Robbery.
Would have to say the profile pic may serve some bias, but I am in agreement with you.

It was a close fight could have gone either way
People don't understand what robberies are.
I thought a robbery was when Masvidal pieced up raging Al Iaguntia for three rounds and somehow Al wins a split decision.
To me that's a robbery.
But if we didn't get that robbery we don't get this gem of a vid
We call this the Fuck you interview.

Gsp Hendricks margin was narrow as fuck

Yeah that's a goated interview. But a clear 30-27 Masvidal, at best to Iaquinta 29-28 Masvidal

I actually live my life like Jason Bourne, except I don't go "find people" (in 3 different states0, to shoot them, but i harvest forensic investigation from them (in the form of documents, photos, and/or personal statements).

I think "highly of myself" because most people are utter cowards, and idiots ... who never actually live on the edge themselves ... who never actually put their own ass on the line ... they only "watch TV" and comment about it (or "read the internet" and do the same).

.
My guy, you’re clearly somebody that greatly values masculinity and toughness. But ironically, hurling insults at everybody that disagrees with you while constantly pumping yourself up as a badass absolutely reeks of insecurity and sensitivity. Being obsessed with machismo and masculinity is what weak men do. If you live it, you don’t have to say it.

Appreciate your passion.

Watch the 3rd round again, sober.

Reyes was throwing punches "to keep Jones away" ... and was losing confidence and stamina.

Dominick was clearly realizing ...
  1. He was fading; and
  2. He was running out of steam.
Ray Charles could see the panic in his efforts/movements, midway in Round 3.

Jon Jones was in control, midway Round 3, and chased Reyes' yielding ass for the rest of the fight.
Walking forward while getting tagged, the Diego Sanchez method of winning fights

Rewatch the 3rd round while activating more than one of your brain cells simultaneously

Reyes was clearly....

Hitting Jones more than Jon hit him

This sport has pound for pound the stupidest fucking fans on the planet

Reyes outlanded Jon by all metrics across the first 3 rounds and defended the takedowns he attempted. If that isnt superior striking and grappling what is even the point of the fucking scorecards

Jones/Reyes is obviously the bigger robbery, but people are unable to see that because they just look at the ovr damage, rather than round by round. R1-R3 were clear Reyes, while in GSP vs Hendricks R3/R5 were clear GSP and R1 was a toss up.

For some reason I thought one of Hendricks rounds could have been a 10-8 so it's possible to be a draw.
Yes. 10-8 was quite rare back then so I didnt score it like that but Hendrics did have strong periods.

I dont like how they score fights, but I cant blame GSP. He was outgunned so he made enough points. Hendrics was better fighter but GSP was better player that night.

Bad cornering on the part of Hendricks team. Think they told him after rd 4 he had it in the bag bc he clearly took the 5th round off. Dumb dumb dumb.

I remember this when my disdain for Dana and Johny started (more so for dana) bc of there antics at the post fight pressor. Dana shitting allover gsp and Hendricks pretending he's the champ. He literally said at the post fight pressor "iam the champion". LOL WTF

One man got beat the fuck up by the end. One man looked like he was going to beat the shit out of his opponent in a close fight at the end. This is fighting fuck your compubox. I don’t care as much about rounds when the FIGHT is determined and to hell with anyone wanting to see a belt change hands from ANY LEGEND INCLUDING JONES to an opponent who lost THE FIGHT. Reyes was done. GSP was beat the shit out of. Fuck the rules

For me I think Jones vs Reyes simply was the worst as in GSP Vs Hendricks fight, Hendricks did the most ridiculous thing chilling in the last round,
He threw that win away.
