Crime Biden was in possession of classified documents while not in office

Are all the minor nuances the same? No

Are the crimes of possessing CD and TS documents in less than secure facilities, at a time they weren't supposed to possess them? Absolutely
That’s the only thing that is the same. The “minor nuances” that are different are that when Biden lawyers found the documents they returned them.
trump tried to keep them before he said he didn’t have them before he said they were magically declassified with his thought before he said they were his property.
Minor nuances. Lol

That and Biden as a VP at the time didn't have power to declassify anything. So there is that minor nuance.

So in your opinion, mishandling of classified and top secret information is not a crime?

Do you really think that the differences between Biden returning them and trump refusal to return them are just minor nuances

You know, something I'm rather looking forward to is the Democratic primaries. I'm betting that if people attempt to primary Biden, this event which is being downplayed and shoved under the rug at the moment, is suddenly going to become very serious. It'll show that Biden is a potential national security threat, that he has lost it, that we can't let him be president because of it - but alternate candidate X can save the day. I'm calling it - now this is a "nothingburger" and just misplaced gripes by Republicans and Trump supporters. Come time for someone to challenge Biden it will suddenly become a serious issue and call Biden's fitness to be president into question (along with fifty things which are currently treated as no big deal). Bookmark this post and call me a prophet or a dumbass later, as you see fit.

I have no dog in this fight,
but how can it be that easy to just take classified docs with you and then forget them?
I mean even libraries has better security...
Some one should have been missing the docs and started to look for them.
+ juan.
I can't see any reason for anybody to take classified documents home.
Some light night reading?
I think that both Trump and Biden have showed there is a huge flaw and security risk in the system.

I think the takeaway here is that the amount of mundane shit they "classify".

For people who scream all day about "our democracy" and call us an alleged self government, it certainly seems they want everything to be as opaque as possible and "classify" damn near everything to keep it from the public. You hear "classified" and think it must be nuclear codes or some military secret operation. Nah, it's just some fucking cocktail napkins, a bunch of personal letters, a couple lunch menus, some selfies, some old meeting schedules, all of which they've decided can't be seen by the public because that's how much they think of you.

NARA's role is to make it all public at some point. they have to get it first of course.....

hmm.... Thats interesting , actually.
what's interesting about it? both of them had classified records (and some TS and TS/SCI records) that weren't declassified.
