Don't chin-ups target the same muscles as bicep curls, as well as your delts, traps, lats, and abs (core stability)?

From an efficiency standpoint, they still seem like a waste to me..

Exactly how I see it man. Chins > Curls any day of the week for me.
 
Advocating curls as a way to improve pullups is like saying that leg extensions will help to improve squats.

Hang on, you mean they don't? Ah fuck, guess the squat comp isn't going to go as well as I hoped.


THIS THREAD IS FUCKING POINTLESS curls are an assisstance exercise, they can prevent bicep tears when doing real lifts and might marginally help some other lifts, but shouldn't be the basis for your whole training regime.
