Funny thing I actually lost weight on vacay and I'm finally made it under 250 again. Woo Hoo!

All I did was (A) drink every day (B) smoke cigarettes again (C) eat out every meal... I think I can keep that up. How's that for Precision Nutrition?

Welcome to the life of a college student minus the smoking cigarettes part, dont find that particularly inviting and i couldnt afford 8$ a pack anyways

smoke cigarettes?

I quit last April after smoking for over 10 years. Don't worry, I made a rule. I'll only smoke in developing countries.

They we $2 a pack in Costa Rica! Its like they were paying ME to smoke. I had too.

I know, I know..... I was so dusty at times everyone walking the streets in Santa Teresa were wearing bandito masks (me included). Figured theres enough particultes flying around...might as well enjoy them.

btw. Surfer chicks with bikinis, wearing hankerchief masks, bombing around on quads is hot in a Mad Maxx sort of way. I loves me some Apocolyptic future.

dude you need to see doomsday. in fact, if you were here i would demand a man date and we would go see that.

You better go max out on bench or something. Your losing weight, posting sprint workouts...

Trying is the first step towards failure.

Thanks Donut! I could see B0rts hate snowballing. He is becoming one with the Sherdog Matrix.

Things I learned:
-You don't need underwear in the tropics.
-Wet wipes are your friend.
-THIS may be the best internet site ever.
-I hate Dallas and American Airlines [2 cancelled flights+2 delayed flights+20hrs layover+shitty airport food+4 extra taxi rides = 1.5 late to vacation + $600 = rage]
-Surfer chicks are muy caliente
-I'm going back to Costa Rica next year.

I'll need to track down this thread with enright and Chase.

Costa Rica's awesome. I need to go back.

Where did you go when you were there.

I went to:
Monteverde/Santa Elena - Cloud rain forest/ hiking/canopy tours, zip line
Santa Teresa - surfing, drinking, surfing, sun burning
Mal Pais - relaxing
Montezuma - touristy stuff
San Jose - one night at a nice hostel

I plan on going back next year. Europe is too $ right now and there is so much to do in CR, and its all very easy. The Costa Rician people are so nice and helpful, plus there are many, many ex-patriots living there.

I want to go to Arenal Volcano next time, more hiking in Naional Parks, and surfing.

A little over $3500 for the two of us, $750-800 for plane tickets. There are much cheaper routes you can go too. We made a few travel mistakes as it was our first time. I'd skip the cloud rain forest if I went back, everything cost more there as it was so isolated. There are great hostels and inexpensive hotels on the Nicoya Peninsula, food is so cheap and very good. I had several of the best meals of my life there.

damn thats a lot of money FOR ME. We are trying to save up for a trip to Ireland. So far we have $50 bucks....lol.

The tickets weren't a very good price, we had 2 cancelled flights, and an 11 hour layover in LA to get there. When we arrived I hadn't slept in 36 hours.....needless to say I reached for a few tall, cold beers.

I couldn't have afforded the trip 2 years ago. I just got out of the red last year and began saving.

Ireland....with the exchange rate, thats like $25

photos posted homie
