pool-10 laps, steam room, home...

Hideous 405 squats. I haven't used a belt in a long time and need to get accustomed to it again. The belted 405 sqt became a pause sqt as I didn't keep my breath in at the bottom and the belt folded me over. lulz. Had to re-breath and finish the sqt. Considering the day and week I've had... today was okay. I slept 3 hours, worked, and only ate a cup of yogurt and a turkey sandwich before going to the gym at 4:15. I've had no appetite and have been eating very little this week. Not by choice mind you, but nothing is appetizing lately. I went grocery shopping last night and got ingredients for chicken soup from scratch, Italian wedding soup, ratatouille, and baked ziti. I need to eat.

Protein shakes are a good way to get calories down when you have no appetite. It's much easier to drink 700 calories than it is to eat it.

Squats were slow and I had the bar positioned a little too low, causing more forward lean. Front Squats are good and I went for the pumpitude with back ext. I still suck at knee raises.

Received some pics of the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim hike today.More on the way.

4:15 am @ the South Rim. I fell asleep around 1:30am... we woke at 3am. I was miserable, but at least I'd brewed some coffee the day before to chug before we left.

About 20 miles done, 3.3 left to go...straight up. We popped caffeine, put on our ipods, and split up after this. Finished in exactly 12:00 hours.

There is nothing about you that looks like it was built for endurance hiking.
It wasn't easy. Only did 2 longish traing hiks beforehand, I wasn't really ready : (

That looks both amazing and brutal. Good job.
Thanks, it sure was something... I had 7 blisters, but medical saved the day.

I'm so glad I didn't go to that. I will live through your pictures.

I'll trick you into a hike some day. " I swear Zero... At the top of the hill is a Sonic Burger."

My back was tired, had a difficult time keeping my shoulder blades tight together.

I was bored...tried different asst since I wasn't at home.

We're closing on the house and should have keys in hand on Friday. Time to move the Hall of Justice to its new cul de sac.
