It's starting to get hot here. It was 85 when we left, there was a nice breeze when we hit some tougher elevation at 30 min in.

For deficit deads I stood on 1.5" blocks, but I was using a pair of rubberized plates that are raised an extra 1/2" to slide plates on easier. Bench sucked today. My arms are fried. Most sets were touch and go but I buckled down and hit the heavier ones with a good pause. Finally made some blocks to pull off. Bought two 2"x12"x8', cut them into 1' pieces, and glued and screwed them together. Roughly $20.
 
No. I'm just so bad off the gound I figured I would start my set with a small deficit. I made it through the whole thing.

How's Cali?
 
Cali has been cool so far. I went down to santa cruz, ate a bread bowl of clam chowder, drank a lot, and spent 70bucks on sushi. I'm heading out to san fran today.
 
Lets see: Berkley area, "Full House" houses (seven sister - Alamo square), Union Square, Chrissy Field and Ghiradelli square to Golden Gate bridge, and Fisherman's warf (aquarium). He are some recommendations: Cafe Jacqueline ($$$) is nice and then you can walk to Coit tower. Universal Cafe for a great brunch.
 
The woman said we are going to fisherman's warf, alcatraz, aquarium, ghiradelli square, golden gate bridge, and then some natural science museum. I've got to get a flask.

I was worried this was going to be an abortion of a squat day, as I was sore from Tuesday, but it turned out to be my best in a while. I was able to descend slower and pull the bar down on my shoulders evenly throughout each rep. No GMing. They weren't fast, but they felt solid. With the front box squats I was concentrating on sitting back and upright, quick pause, still sitting tall, and power up with my legs.
 
Sure, front squat when i'm not there. :(

"Ouchie my wrist hurts, I can't front squat...Wait, now my elbow hurts! blah, blah, blah"


Actually, I needed a break tonight. I've been really sore this week.

Go for it. I'm guessing you could hit your old PR again pretty easily.
