Pretty good day. We worked on consistant bench form. Zero sold me on using a narrower foot placement, feet tucked, and oly shoes. Good stuff. I was really wide before, but had a noticeably higher arch with my feet in. Legs weren't that strong tonight, but I consciously was thinking "sit back" to initiate the eccentric movement. This made a great difference. The reps I felt like I sat back on felt much easier. Still need to fight the GM and spread the floor.

Bench felt strong, might need to tweak the max a bit. Squats felt ok. I tried to PL squat with the chucks on the second set... Zero told me to put the oly shooes back on as my form was hideous. I did. Thats okay though. I got to watch him try ring pushups.

my hips won't tolerate the wide stance and the low bar hunches me over more then I'm comfortable with... basically, I collapse inward. Its not pretty.

Hmmm. I thought I smelled fast food when we were lifting... maybe thats the secret.

nice lifting.

zero doing ring push ups...bahahhah.....

recently i been focusing more on pushing elbows back/up and head back/down into the bar....then pressing backwards against the bar on the way up is slowly helping me cure my GMing...aka divebomber squats...haha

Zero's helping me to continue improving my squat form. After I finish a set, I turn and he usually gives me the rundown on each rep (thumbs up thumbs down). I'm discovered that I have to maintain a focal point at eye level desecending and really drive my head back. Being a tall lanky turd seems to mean I'll always have to concentrate on not falling forward and use a relatively high bar position

Elbows down and back feels the best. Keeping my upperback tight usually keeps everything else in order.

I still hit the bottom too fast sometimes which causes my hips to rise first...and well you know what happens next.

Hopefully Zero brings his camera to one of our next squat sessions. We could both use a critique.
