I couldn't get 60 pullups... I think I might be done with this pullup progression, as I'm not strong enough to keep up.

My week 1 started on week 2. I couldn't squeeze 60 reps in an abbreviated wo last night, so i'm thinking of changing it up a bit. My forearms are sore.

wk 1 - 30 x3days
wk 2 - 40 x3day
wk 3 - 50 x3days
wk 4 - 60 x2days
wk 5 - 70 x2days
 
Might give it a try. I've never tried that kind of volume (3 days a week) so we'll see what I can do. I know at the moment doing 50-60 pullups is something I can do ...but 3 times a week seems like it would be some vicious DOMS. I'd still like to give it a try since I don't have any more strength goals for my back at the moment. My first workout since my PR is Tuesday. Just warning you, it's a pressing workout.
 
Take a week off heavy deadlifts, do some speed pulls, then give it a go again. Always works for me when I miss a weight I should get.

Damn all my lifts are going down. I might concentrate on speed work and GPP/conditioning this week. Speed pulls for DLing is a must, my form and strength were crap this week.

The volume and frequency worked well for about 2.5-3 weeks. After the first week I noticed a huge difference "Dan Gable-ing" the exercise (doing it every workout). I felt much stronger, but right now my forearms and wrists are sore. YGZ is frickin' strong, so I makes perfect sense that I can't do this. Now if I weighed 170lb that would be a different story, but I'm up to 255 this month. I think I need the YGZ Jr. plan.:redface: Maybe 7x10 after 5 weeks. Seven was my max before starting.
 
get cissus...that stuff will help the tendons/ligaments hold up better....that stuff is a lifesaver for me...
 
Are there any good deals out there you know off the top of your head?

I'm been meaning to pick some up.
