Sorry if this was asked already, I just recently learned about the concept of betting margin % values. Like for example if a fighter has implied probability of 36% to win from their odds, but you think they have a 40% chance to win so there's a 4% margin of value.

My question is what is a general good amount to look for with these margins, something like 10%? Or is it a case-by-case situation depending on how risky a fight outcome is and you would want more % margin in one fight over another?

First of all, focus on your favorite sports as this is your big advantage to make profits. Doing random bets for other sports which your only basis is by other saying, won't give you a best output. In my case, my favorite one is basketball and doing regular bettings with this kind of sports depends on my favorite league. My own knowledge with the upcoming game is somehow a good factor for me to give my best pick. Right now my stats are doing good. Also there's no such thing as easier in the world of gambling in any form https://login.info.ke/

    Ayyyy for you bitcoin traders:

I have a trezor bitcoin wallet. Kinda like a USB drive it's a wallet I gotta plug into my phone or computer and has a pin code of your choosing where it randomizes the keypad. Anyway my question is...if I buy bitcoin at say Coinbase would I be able to deposit gnar directly to my trezor wallet instead of their wallet first and then transfer?

    {<huh}

You fly to Nevada to stay within the law. Hopefully now that betting is legal by federal law more states will allow it not just online but at casinos or lotto retailers.

I'm sure this has been asked many times but I'm a newbie so humor me. I have only been betting on Bovada and have a feeling that there are better options out there. I live in Oregon. Any better sites?

I don’t understand how it could be possible to make money betting on sports.

If you consistently build your bankroll, why wouldn’t the bookies simply stop accepting your wagers?

They do sometimes. One of the biggest draw backs to being successful. Limits and outright bans. Some have 10s of books to use some use friends to create new account. Definitely the biggest hurdle.

    Thank you for the answer.

Between the cat-and-mouse that you describe, and perhaps also having feet on the ground in Vegas, do you believe that it is possible to come out ahead long term?

Also, are betting exchanges an option? Do they have their own limitations?

The only 2 books I'm aware of that won't cut you off are Pinnacle and Bookmaker. We don't have exchanges in Canada but I assume you can't get limited there either. Most other books will cut you off between the 5k-15k profit range but if you have access to more identities you can cycle through them.

I do have a favourite betting site but i’m not quite sure if it’s allowed in the US. I mostly do sports betting and play some online casino games at Sportsbet.io (again, don’t know if you can play it in America but can’t you use vpn?)

sorry if this has already been answered, this thread is fucking huge lol.

if you bet on an underdog and then it shifts and he becomes the favorite, does it change my bet? do i keep the underdog status/payout?

You keep the original underdog payout.

Whatever the number was at the time of your bet, that's what you'll get paid. That's why predicting line movement is important sometimes, so you can catch openers or time your bets to give yourself the best odds vs what direction you think people will shift the lines.

Which sports books in Las Vegas offer live in-play betting for UFC?

A quick Google search shows outdated posts from years ago for non-UFC live in-play betting.

Hey guys, so I’ve been using bookmaker and 5d for awhile and I have a question for bovada and intertops users:

Can you bet ufc (fight after fight) on bovada and intertops or do they pull the lines took quick?
