Just in case someone is indeed betting for a living, I suggest you check out this forum https://arbusers.com/index.php where smart bettors and professionals are gathering. Many people might look for higher betting limits in some events. Maybe you can find a solution there.

Live bet question, as I’m pretty new to gambling

So if you time it right and have X fighter by KO sitting in your que, you could like hit submit at the time that one of those drawn out 10 second flurry’s to finish starts? is there a delay that like if the fight ends within 30 seconds of placing the bet, the bet is null?

Bookies couldn’t possibly shift the odds fast enough over someone hitting “submit” as it looks like the end.

Betting is suspended during episodes like that. Just observe live betting on a bookie and you'll see.

Yeah I’ve seen that a few times now

I had some money on Holloway and then in the 5th round I was one of the few who had Volk winning the 3rd. As I was clicking a +400 bet on Volk to hedge and entering the amount to cover my Mac bet it suspended :,(

Hey guys, never bet on a fight before. Just asking the age old question of what is the best app to use?
    1. American (USD)
    2. Prefer non-parlay bets
    3. mainly want something for beginners so I can just bet on W/L SUB/KO/DEC type things

Late answer here sorry. But a lot of people here use 5dimes. For a beginner who doesn't care about hella prop options I'd say Bovada is a good choice, very user-friendly, and they have lots of newbie bonuses. They've also gotten a lot better recently for live betting and adding lines early, just might not be the best for it.

i see i made the mistake of making a whole thread when there is a sticky for exact questions lol

bovada is using a great brittain server. my card is not digging it
looking for a good alternative. preferably one that takes debit cards and not bitcoin. just not into learning the bitcoin thing
live mma betting is also preferred

    thanks guys

So in Paddy power, I see these odds:

    Cory Sandhagen by KO/TKO 10/3
    Cory Sandhagen by Points 11/4
    But then this:
Cory Sandhagen by KO/TKO or on Points 11/10
This doesn't make sense as it would always be better to play 5 units each to win ~16 or ~13 instead of 10 to win 11.

    Am I missing something here?

You're forgetting to subtract the loss from the second wager if you play them separately:

    5u on KO/TKO at 10/3 = 16.6u - 5u (loss from points wager) = 11.6u profit
    5u on Points at 11/4 = 13.75u - 5u (loss from KO/TKO wager) = 8.75u profit
    10u on KO/TKO or Points = 11u profit

First off thank you to everyone who has contributed here, everyone at one point or another has offered me valuable information.

Hey guys, I was wondering if by any chance you would mind giving me some advice on betting. I have lurked on this site for a while and bet all the time without much rhyme or reason, but get help lurking here. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on taping fights. I never really have taped any fights myself but I would like to start and was curious if anyone could give me some pointers if your not too busy. Anything you got for me would be appreciated.

Also any advice just on betting in general would also be cool like bankroll management or anything you'd tell a noob. And would you say fight pass is necessary or is there any sites online for fights someone could use? Also how much time do you guys generally put into taping I have a decent amount of free time due to not sleeping much lol, but I'm just curious.

    Thanks again.

Who would win in a fight between Rameses from The Prince of Egypt movie and Ali Abdelaziz in a large open field, both with no weapons, and both well rested and well fed at 12:00 p.m. with warm temperature? And why?

What site do you use to livebet while living in California? I used 5dimes before it got shutdown to US users.
