Rob is as good as anyone Khabib beat

I'd argue he's better.

He's not better than Dustin, Dustin has a better resume by far, holloway 2x, gaethje, mcgregor, alvarez, chandler, BSD while whittaker's best wins are romero and Jacare. Maybe Rob's better in terms of TDD but he's not a better fighter overall

It's literally the exact opposite.

You really don't watch their training footage. You are just going off by what Strickland is mouthing off about sparring. Just watch him grapple during training. He is willing to play guard during training. He even gave Rockhold top position and worked from there. The way he grapples during training is completely different vs the way he fights.

He had Usman down for the final minute of round 2 until the round ended, then for the final couple minutes in round 3

He arguably lost both of those rounds. He is not the same fighter after round one. Khabib is there for the entire fight.

It's an interesting contrast, tbh. Khamzat exerts a lot into his first takedown and doesn't care about pacing himself and you have to wonder; if he doesn't exert as much and paced himself, would his ground game be as dangerous? Opposite to wonder for Khabib. Would he be as dangerous as Khamzat early if he put just as much effort?
Two sides of the same coin imo and its fascinating.

When Khabib “went for broke”, he easily took down, controlled and finished Justin.

Most other times he seemed to have very dark intentions, ie exert a prolonged and sustained ground and pound to make a point.
