Best movie all time

My favorite - Once Upon A Time in the West.

Is it the greatest? It's better than most people realize. The story is organized so well; it's amazingly good.

Has anyone named Citizen Kane yet? I understand that it's become a cliche.
Man i just rewatched Once Upon a time in the West since you mentioned it. For sure one of the best films ever

I’m not sure it’s the best... I’m not even sure how to quantify that all around.

That said, it’s pretty fuckin amazing, almost every movement, word in each scene feeling significant or purposeful.

Kurosawa is my favourite director of all time, but it's hard to pick a favorite film of his. If I had to, I think it'd be a toss-up between Ikiru and Ran

hard pick but first thing that comes to mind is watching Terminator 2 as a kid with my dad back when it came out :)

I cried when arnie lowered himself into the molten metal thing at the end lol :P

we both were so blown away by the movies awesomeness we rewatched it straight after the end credits !

lots of other movies are up there for me, but this memory is so strong for me that I can't help but picking it as my goat movie !

Ran had this Epic and Haunting feel to it. Saw it as a kid and it still sticks with me.

So many movies idolizing grim unspeaking tragic guys which I’m all for but I’m compelled to proffer something different:

Alright guys. I want to hear your single favorite movie of all time. Any genre and any decade.

I'l admit, I'm going to sort through these and watch them.

Braveheart ya bum

This was Cameron's filmmaking masterpiece, and would be viewed as one of the best movies of all time if not for two issues.

1. Instrumental versions of 'My heart will go on' being played in the background of dozens of scenes.

2. Leonardo 'Teen Hearthrob' DeCaprio being cast in the lead role rather than an actor who could act.

Titanic could have been a Perfect 10 Film, but these two huge issues brings it to a solid 9.

Leo's a great actor. I don't remember how good he was when young but put some respect on his name.

My top 15:

Goodfellas
Shawshank Redemption
Godfather
Silence Of The Lambs
Jaws
The Jerk
E. T
Empire Strikes Back
Stand By Me
Return Of The King

My picks cause I could watch them over and over without getting sick of em.

Top 15? But you only listed 10
