Some of those guys Merab was fighting were better at any stage of their career in or out of peak, than Chael was at any point.

I'm not saying Chael's a bum. But he's nor an Umar, Cejudo, Aldo level fighter.

Chael was 30 seconds away from being the #1 MW in the world.
The Chael that fight Silva and Jon was at a better stage in his MMA career then when Aldo fight merab. Chael was peaking and performing the best he ever did. The Aldo that fought merab was clearly an Aldo that was nearing the end of his career.

A prime Aldo never would gotten wall n stalled by merab. Aldo was too good at TDD and took quick to get caught by merab.

Why??? Cejudo retired 2020 and fought Merab 2024 after losing to Aljo 2023. He was retired for 3 years just like Stipe and was coming off a loss when he faced Merab just like Stipe. Tell me how is this different?

Same with Aldo, peak Aldo was 2012. He was 21-1 back then. he fought Merab 10 frking years later 2022 with 6 losses before facing Merab.

Again, how is this any different than Jones facing Stipe years later after Stipe^s peak? And the Jake Paul comparison was name based, because just like Merab fought 2 of the 5 guys on the list when they were a shell of themselves years later after their prime, so it doesnt count. Unless you think Jake Paul is better than Mike Tyson even at Tyson's peak...
