Benjamin "F**king" Franklin!!

The real question is, why has no one made a movie about this yet?!?!

Thinking about it, if anyone should have been re-imagined as a vampire hunter . . .

Benjamin Franklenstein
Do it!

Read up on Thomas Jefferson as well.

And if you're interested in the most badass politician in the history of the US and possibly ever, check out Andrew Jackson.

that's what it takes to be immortalized by printed cash.

If you've never seen The Barbarian Invasions, I recommend you watch it. Incredible, provocative, poignant, and deeply insightful film. At one point, the protagonist, Remy, who has been a radical socialist French-Canadian professor his entire life, says, "Philadelphia, USA,- Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Adams, Franklin, Jefferson, Washington, Hamilton, and Madison. No other country has been so blessed."

Quite true. No other single generation of minds in one time and in one place can compare. Not even Plato and his pupils. Not even close.

Never thought of that Madmick, but it's probably true. So many great thinkers and leaders all in the same place at the same time is remarkable.

lmao

he was awesome

comparing the founders to the scum we have now running the country blows my mind

the founding fathers had it easy. they lounged around all day trying on wigs and whatever else 18th century people did.

Yeah, you're right, not like they were fighting a war against the largest military power of their day or anything. An easy peasy life all the way .... </sarc>

Also, George Washington actually fought the British in battles on the battlefield. Unlike Today's presidents who order a drone strike a million miles away from the comfort of the oval office!

Moreover, Franklin came from a working class background and worked his way out.

I heard he and DaVinci had a working demo of the Internet, but scrapped it for fear of society becoming antisocial.

Cheers! A brit is educating someone, probably an ignorant American, on one of America's founding fathers!

Everyone sing it with me in honor of Gooner. For he's a jolly good fellow, for he's a jolly good fellow, for he's a jolly good fellow.... which nobody can deny!
