I think this guy in the video is dead on.
Boxing isn't drawing enough subscribers for the HBO's or Showtime's to justify cost of the product in todays world. I'm guessing Showtime's PPV events prop up the cost of the boxing shows on Showtime and the margin of profit is getting slimmer and slimmer every year if not going backwards.

Seems to me this is an issue of cable falling out of favor and Parmount Plus not got that many subscribers yet. Cable is dying, not boxing. The OTT Platforms.. too many people do not want to buy dozens of platforms but a occasional pay for view event works.

It was cool when it was just Netflix and everything was on there. Now every company has one and it’s too much. Bring back the days of cable where I can pay a single fee per month for everything

An absolutely unnecessary fight that held up the division. After the draw and then the drubbing Wilder received in the second, the third fight was pointless.
Ah, yes, the fight that happened several years past it’s due date
The underachiever weight draining a glorified prospect. Only people that really cared were Ryan’s TikTok followers. That fight did nothing for the lightweight division, and less for boxing as a whole
Another fight that happened several years later than it should have, and only happened because Spence finally found his balls and stood up to Haymon.
A fight nobody asked for, and the tickets have been slow to sellMatchroom and Top Rank

I keep seeing this guy pop up, but not a single person who's posted him has named a single thing he's reported on that's actually happened.
It's similar to the cycle of before with one guy who's name I'm forgetting who began all these rumors that got banned for endlessly shilling his YouTube channel, but with a different person now.

Nothing about that interview suggested he was going to the UFC. Just worried about his place in a new company during a buyout. Is normal.
If they keep PFL/Bellator as two separate leagues, Eblen will continue defending the MW title.
If the leagues are merged, I'm sure Bellator 185 will fill in the void for PFL middleweight. If PFL brings back 185, I'm 100% positive guys like Razor Rob, Akhmedov, Jotko, and Shoeface will move down. No way those guys have a chance against Bellator's 205ers.
At any rate, I'm sure Eblen will be alright.
