Interesting thing regarding boxing. Also likely applies to Bellator.
interesting article hypothesizing that the Hangup could be the Saudi investment into PFL
In my mind best case scenario is Coker finds investors who will purchase and let him take full control of company. Find a new tv deal and merge Bellator & RizinThanks for sharing, very good article.
I could see Coker and Sak. coming together with some form of Rizin USA org. staging "x" amounts of events a year in the US and to try to help get US media deal of some sort with basically Coker being in charger of the North American market. Unless Coker is just ready to retire at this point(he is over 60 and this sport isn't easy on people) and maybe just be a consultant or something with some of these orgs like Rizin or BKFC.

I just don’t see it happening. Any investor can take a look at Bellator’s history and see that it’s just been a complete mess of a promotion. In my mind best case scenario is Coker finds investors who will purchase and let him take full control of company. PFL just seems like a ploy by the UFC to further consolidate the marketIn couple years PFL will run out of funding and we will have a 2 for 1 MMA bankruptcy
why would they continue running bellator? makes no sense. having 2 weaker promotions splitting the brand focus versus merging them and making a stronger promotion focused on one brand.
if they do this it would be the dumbest thing ever.
I guess so they can slowly absorb people into the PFL brand while honouring the Bellator contracts and not serving up a buffet of fighters for the UFC to choose from
