They're spending a ton of money in order to clean up L.A. in time for the World Cup and for the Olympics, just 2 years from now

Nothing what they're doing is working. They're now trying to cover up walls with ivy, but that doesn't stop shit. 8 hours later, its destroyed

The messed part is us L.A county folks wont even be able to get tickets because of the demand they kicked us off the beach last time they had to film some promo for the Olympics.

The Democrats will steal at least 1/2 the money intended for the "beautifying" and mismanage the other 1/2.

Reminds me of when Gavin cleaned up San Francisco right before Xi flew in to visit Sleepy Joe.
But when his Chinese overlords aren't in town, it's a Mad Max post apocalyptic meth/heroin market.

The last time I was in LA, we walked around Venice Beach and as soon as it got dark, all the gangbangers came out. I thought I was on set for the filming of the Colors sequel or Training Day part 2.

Venice beach is even ghetto to those of us from other cities in L.A county lol.

Mega-city one.

I actually love the look of the building. Some dope art and some of LA’s best taggers and crews threw their name on there. I pass it weekly and always admire it. I admittedly though take a pretty glass half full view of the city and have an affinity for graffiti art (and art in general). I have pretty expensive graffiti art collection in my home. I love LA though so I’m about as biased as it gets.

It's been that way for like 40 years. The Venice Beach boardwalk has always been scary at night. There are multimillion dollar houses right there too but you dont want to walk around after dark thats for sure.

The gangbangers are there in the daytime too but they get outnumbered by the tourists when the sun's out.

What? That looks like complete shit. Especially for the people who have to work in those buildings.

Tbf I don’t think this buildings really on the city of LA. If I remember correctly it was some Chinese company but they went bankrupt during covid so the project was abandoned. Now there’s all kinds of legal bullshit that needs to happen before any decision is made about what to do with those buildings. Until then we can’t really do shit like tear it down, sell it, use for homeless shelters etc.

Our economy subsidizes your retirement community. The healthcare costs for the morbidly obese alone, are staggering.

Your economy subsidizes billions in fraud... lol. And your moron politicians refuse to address it and instead are going to end up killing its strongest tax base.

Also, you've already lost half of the higher earners in the state who pay 40% of the taxes

Vote Blue No Matter Who... lol

Dump of a city.

Parts of the city are a dump, like downtown and hollywood. Much the city is still very nice. I live in northeast LA and it’s awesome here. Central LA and the west side are nice as well, outside of some homeless people in Venice the beach towns are legit. Even “ghetto” neighborhoods like Inglewood and Boyle heights are improving pretty chill now. There’s still some shady parts in South LA though but overall gang violence on pedestrians is hardly a thing anymore. The homeless and drug addicts are the scariest but can be avoided if you know where to avoid.

You mean the welfare queens who moved to texas to start shitty business in austin and not pay taxes?

You're welcome to them.

If there’s ever a legit investigation into all the money we’ve spent trying to fix the homeless crisis I expect a bunch of fraud to come out. There’s billions of dollars unaccounted for and people have been stepping down from important roles quite a bit. My proposal is to just send them all to Barstow.
