Our Face saver headgear is made using the Winning pattern and sells for $149.99. Isaac, thought for sure you knew this.
 
I don't know how many times I must stress the fact that pricing is established at the source and geared by cost for special leathers from the tannery. I DO NOT SET PRICING and I've said a million times, I do not condone any glove, regardless of manufacture costing $400-$700 + and will never go there. We've run the same sale price of $149.99 for many, many, colors of cowhide leather forever and only charge $7.00 for additional lettering. You asked for snake and Croc skin and Topboxer went and got it for you. Then you asked for fluorescent and he provided that too. Then it was metallic just like GRANT and he got the tannery to make that for us 1/3 of the cost being asked elsewhere and what do we get....................complaints. We try very hard to offer quality at a fraction the price of others. Thanks for your understanding and support.

P.S. both our check protector and face saver headgear are only $149.99 for regular colors.

At a fraction of price of others? Who are the others? Grant? Why do you need to use plural in order to mention just a single company?

May I ask what makes you think your hides are "just like GRANT"?

"He got the tannery to make that for us 1/3 of the cost being asked elsewhere" So, since there has been claimed that the 50 dollars difference is purely because the hide for a pair of gloves costs 50 dollars more (so the factual difference as has been claimed), an easy math shows that "elsewhere" is asked 150 dollars just for the same metallic hide (for one pair of gloves). Where exactly, if I may ask?
Or did you just mean Grant costs 600 (so 1/3 is 200)? In this case, as usual: you are not Grant, never were and never will be, there is no reason to use his prices for the comparison, they are irrelavant to you. Clear?

With respect, the guys here just want to know why the hell in Pakistan does a metallic leather cost (as you claim) 50 dollars more than a standard one (for a pair of gloves) while in Mexico it is only 10 (TEN) dollars despite the quality is equal? Btw GDP of Mexico is at least 5x comparing to Pakistan.

Oh i knew Bill but with 0 reviews on the Mexican style headgear I wasnt going to take a chance.

I love every glove Ive bought from you Bill you know that, but with headgear I wasnt sure if the Beaulieu version had the same foam type and weight.

So no I didnt fully know if you had replicated the FG-2900 or not.

So does anyone plan on getting a pair? If he dropped the price tomorrow would you place an order?
 
If he dropped the price it wouldn't be that big a deal for me to go out and buy something since I don't need more gloves. The foil colors he has is limited so there is only so much you can do with 4 foil colors. I already got my gloves/punch mitts so I'm set for now. My training schedule is up in the air so who knows, I might need different gear. In the future I might look at boots and thai pads (going to wait until my current thai pads bite the dust first).

Either way im to broke to buy a pair right away haha. But it would take me less time to get a pair if he dropped the price, regardless I will be purchasing a pair with some metallic green, cause ive been waiting for metalllic for months haha.
 
I just dont see the big deal. Its 50 bucks its like buying a bag of weed if you want it enough youll pay whatever ;-)

Exactly...It's $50 when you live paycheck to paycheck that's a good extra bit to drop when you are already dropping $150 for gloves.
 
Believe me flame i make 8.50 an hour i know how you feel but if your living pay check to pay check you probly shouldnt be worried about custom gear

I am worried about custom gear and being the best quality because I fight. I need to buy stuff that will last me a while so I invest when I can.
