Man Civil War took a large steamy dump all over this movie.

BvS was a better film bar none, Russo Bros are great at dynamic set pieces and action sequences, not so much integrating comic book aesthetic into their cinematic narrative(something Nolan failed at as well). The two movies explored the same basic theme but BvS found an emotional core which was absent from Civil War.

BvS 8.5/10
Civil War 7.5/10(Winter Soldier was 8/10)

The writer of this article makes the mistake of presenting his perception of the movie writers and characters motives as absolute fact.

If you start reading the article he goes on for paragraphs about what people didnt see in the movie... Which is actually understandable because most of the things he is describing were never portrayed in the movie itself.

He is essentially filling in the blanks with his own imagination and presenting these musings as facts that most people didn't pick up on. It's really pretentious.

well i think he is allowed to have his own opinion, entertainment is rather a very subjective subject.

when we talking about Profit or critics consensus that part is way more objective, but i think everyone has their own opinion on how good a movie is.

one of my best friend slept in the theater when i bring him to watch Avengers, Amazing Spiderman, Man of Steel, GOTG., TDKR. all those movies i consider very good.

but he thought Paranormal activity is one of the best movie he ever saw.

yes but he is not stating it is an opinion, he's stating it as if it were fact.

Yeah that is a minority opinion for sure, of course that doesn't mean you're wrong as it is subjective.

I went on for pages earlier itt about the numerous issues the movie had with plot holes, poor logic and pacing, poorly written and explained character motivations, tonal issues.

I found the movie to be a colossal bore, with a few great scenes sprinkled in. Whereas I found civil war entertaining from start to finish.

save your money and watch this instead

Dead Robin in BATMAN V SUPERMAN Confirmed as Jason Todd

Several days ago, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood official Facebook page posted video in which tour guide John Kourounis provided a live tour of the DC Universe: The Exhibit. When he got to the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice portion of the exhibit, he revealed that Jason Todd is indeed the dead Robin.

“This was one of the big things from Batman v Superman, right across this way. The Jason Todd/Robin suit,” Kourounis said. “Spray painted on the front, ‘Ha-Ha. The joke’s on you Batman.’ Those of you that know the storyline, know what happened to this Robin.”

Charles Roven No Longer Producing All DC Movies Due to BATMAN V SUPERMAN Fallout

Charles-Roven-Batman-v-Superman-052416-Dragonlord.jpg

Charles Roven, the veteran producer who has worked on every DC Comics movie at Warner Bros. since 2005’s Batman Begins, is no longer producing certain DC movies, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.

Talks are underway to have Roven — who was a producer on Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, as well as the recently completed Suicide Squad and next year's Wonder Woman — segue to a different role going forward, likely that of an executive producer who is not involved in day-to-day production. However, he potentially could continue to be a producer on some sequels to the movies he's currently producing.

The extent of Roven's involvement, and which titles he would work on, is "evolving," according to multiple sources, who also stress that no final decisions have been made.

Warners, which leverages its DC IP across multiple channels, among them publishing and video games, now is taking steps to course-correct its approach as it develops its superhero slate. It recently shuffled its executive ranks to have executive vp Jon Berg and Geoff Johns, DC's chief content officer, co-run the newly created DC Films. It also is seeking to hire a more established director on The Flash (2018) after parting ways with screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith, who initially was attached to make his directorial debut with the project.

Roven is part of the unofficial brain trust with Snyder on the DC movies, an approach Warners seems to be rethinking in the wake of BvS's less than stellar performance.

One reason for the shift in thinking is that Warners wants to ramp up the number of DC productions, and sources say it would be physically impossible for one man to handle pre-, post- and production on multiple movies in countries and cities ranging from Australia to Los Angeles to Louisiana to London.

Roven was slated to be a producer on Flash and Aquaman, two DC films that have yet to go into production and could end up shooting on opposite ends of the planet. Sources tell THR he will no longer serve in that capacity on those films.

Roven remains on set for Justice League: Part 1, currently shooting in London, although Warners now has sent Berg to also oversee the day-to-day production of that movie.

The move comes as Warner Bros. continues to scrutinize its DC movies in the wake of BvS’s so-so performance at the box office and chilly reception from audiences. The movie, released March 25, wrapped its run with $871 million worldwide with a production budget of at least $300 million. While Warners insists the movie will be profitable, it was meant to kick off the studio’s DC cinematic universe with a billion-dollar bang, but instead was met with an unenthusiastic response from fans

He is allowed his opinion and yes taste is subjective.

But just because taste is subjective does not mean every opinion is created equally. Too many people think hiding behind 'oh its just my opinion' means it is free of critique and cannot be wrong and that is not the case.

I do have a friend who thinks McD's is just about the best food on the planet. He will choose that before any high end restaurant and he is perfectly entitled to that opinion and taste.

And for him his taste and choices are fine. But there is nothing wrong with 99% of the rest of the world saying his taste sucks and his opinion is lame. I mean, fine for him, but should be dismissed by 99% of everyone else.

it is the same for BoxingFan if not trolling. Fine for him to hold that opinion but quite dismissible by everyone else.
