yeah uh no.

RDJ shits all over Afleck...both career and in acting. Afleck can only do boston accents and supporting actor roles. He's not a main guy. Never was never will be.

Cavil doesn't have much to work with as the writing for Superman has always sucked ass and as such can't make any scene he's in interesting at all.

He's dry wall with muscles that's about it.

You could almost compare directly Captain America scenes to Superman, as they are both essentially the same personality. With that said, it's not even fucking close who creates more interesting dialogue and dynamic.

With the exception of Winter Soldier, every character in the marvel universe has played their part pretty fucking good. Hell even Hawk Eye has had moments where he stole scenes.

We have had RDJ prance around for Ironman 1, 2, and 3 then Avengers 1, and 2. His schtick is getting old.

Can you tell me what dialogue Cap has that gives him great dynamic?

Cap: You got heart kid, where you from?
Spider Boy meets World: Queens
Cap: Brooklyn (with a smirk)

Can you also tell me what scenes Hurt Locker with bow stole? Or even Last Scarlet Airbender, or Token Black Panther, ScarJo, or anyone?

But it really doesnt matter because these are Sci-Fi action movies. The special effect, visuals, are more what BVS is. I mean, I am not watching Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. But the last two Cap movies are literally just flipping from character to character and giving them campy lines. The special effects and visuals are pedestrian.

Just watched it for the first time. Hans Zimmer is the GOAT.

How is that a spoiler question? It was known before the movie came out.
But he was made with Krypton tech.
I only just finished the movie.

There's aspects of this movie that are cool, but there's a ton of aspects of the movies I am just not a real big fan of and I can't tell if it's because I don't like Superman or Batman or it's other stuff.

I DO know that it seems like the DC films are having this thing of "let's see how many billions of dollars of damage we can cause in the climax battles"

I didn't watch the original but last night watched the ultimate edition and... It sucked shit. Superman is corny as fuck and will always be corny as fuck.

Superman... What is the appeal?

1st hour =Ok
2nd hour = Meh
3rd hour = Shit

Just got worst and worst.

Just watched it for the first time tonight. Watched the Ultimate version. Boy, I have some thoughts, and not many of them are good. I'll get to them tomorrow. It had so many problems.

The one issue, and glaring one I can see, is it's trying to hard to skip what Marvel did in Phase 1 of their films and is trying to jump STRAIGHT to the "Avengers" bit.

just watched this for the first time and holy crap did none of it make any sense at all. i gave it a 4, which is being generous. expected a much more graphic fight between batman and superman. the final fight scene in civil war was better than this entire movie.

Just finished watching it. Not sure what's up with all the hate, but I thought it was entertaining.
Ben Affleck was actually k with Batman role. Alfred on the other hand was meh.

Since I can't find a JL thread I'll post this here.

2 things:

1. Steppenwolf....I saw a JL thread on 4chan the other day and hit me like a ton of bricks. Marvel did a live action Steppenwolf better than DC's space demon/satan thing.

2. This is regarding BvS- when the backlash of BvS theater cut started, Snyder mentioned something about a scene that was cut where Clark is desperately searching for his Mother and trying to hear her but can't quite focus on her voice. I don't remember seeing that scene in the ultimate edition. Did anyone happen to catch it?Is it even in the movie?

ok, so those who have now watched the uncut release and not answered my question concerning amy adams titties have 10 minutes to answer me or you all get banned.
They are delicious, but you don't see anymore of them in the ultimate edition. However you get a wide shot of Affleck's Bat ass in a shower scene.

It'll be fine. They'll probably do JUSTICE LEAGUE like SEARCH FOR SPOCK, that way we get Superman back plus all the new homos. I have faith my man Geoff Johns is gonna right this ship; wonder if DC'll let him have similar control as Feige, but I find that doubtful. Somewhere I still think people care what happens to DC characters -- certainly more than with the Marvel Cinematic Circus.

That being said I got the new version. Is it better than the theatrical release? Maybe? Have I been able to stay awake in order to watch it? Definitely not.

I will say the Doomsday design has grown on me. I dig its movement and progression. A real COME AT ME BRO performance.

Just rewatched the extended edition that runs for 3 hours, ill put bullet points:

-I liked Affleck's Batman, he shoots douchebags, Bruce Wayne is older doesnt take shit from nobody and all around doesnt really gives a fuck about the wellbeing of criminals

-Yeah the plot was simple and you could now what would happen, but its a god damn comic book movie so its supposed to work like that

-Superman and Lois were ok, she was pretty good as getting the plot going, also Jimmy Olson secret CIA agent get out of here with that shit

Anyway all was good to the fight, kryptonite gas canisters perfect, pretty solid, young lex luthor didnt work for me, and that doomsday was shit, wonder woman was shit too, but you take the sweet and the bitter and it was a good superhero flick, better that the avengers at times

PS.. Bruce with the epic dream sequence that was cool

I suppose it could be called decent. I almost had to cringe and look away every time Lex Luthor was on screen. That was awful.

Introducing all of the other superheroes was stupid. Their relevance to the plot was literally zero, including Wonder Woman.

Alfred's dialogue was so annoying that I felt bad for Jeremy Irons.

A decent Lex Luthor and trimming off everything that wasn't Superman and Batman would have resulted in a movie that was good with no asterisks.

when i think of 300 million dollar superhero movies, i really sit down, get my head straight and hope they're "Decent"

That movie was garbage

P.S. I never seen it

Heres Ben Afflick's reaction to the shitty reviews:
