If you have seen BATMAN V SUPERMAN, how would you rate it?

BvS wasn't perfect but it gets shit on more than its fair share.

There are shittier Marvel films that somehow dont get the same flack (Antman, Iron man 2 and 3, Thor 2). Its pretty ridiculous.

Not to mention BvS gave us the best live action Batman till date, period. The movie can be anywhere between 6 - 8 rating, depending on personal preference, but anything below that is just biased.

BvS had higher expectations than the filler marvel movies you listed, and understandably so. I would argue it isn't really better than Ant-Man too. Sure Iron man 2 & 3 and both Thor movies weren't great. They weren't supposed to be the backbone of their cinematic universe though.

Ironically it's you who's being bias by saying anybody rating the movie under a 6 is being bias... WTF?? Those movies you listed were 500x more entertaining then this crap. And no this movie didn't have the best anything, it was total garbage.

I am actually wondering in a world void of the MCU, BvS might actually be a really good film.

Nah, that movie fucking sucked. Battfleck was rad though.

That's very true, Afleck wasn't the problem. He was the only good thing about the movie.

Superman has zero appeal these days. He's basically God and he looks like a fucking dork. How could they not change the Superman look after all these years?

It was much better than a lot Marvel movies.

Id put it above:
CA TFA
CA CW
Age of Ulton
Thor 2
Ant Man
The Incredible Hulk
IM 2&3

Suck it

Well fuck him and his stupid movie. The movie deserved to be a John Carter flop.

Is seems very personal to you. If I dont like a movie. Then i just dont like it.

You need to relax more.

That film was shit, even badass batfleck couldn't save it. 3/10 will never watch again

Right on... Wait. Antman?? What the hell is wrong with Antman??

It's only arguably better than IM3 of those 4. It almost comes down to this question: what was the worse, having Mandarin being an actor or casting Eisenberg as Luthor?

BvS had script issues and Luther was miscast. The JL bits were cringey as all hell too. I was entertained inspite of that. Honestly thats all that counts. I also prefer the visual style of BvS and MoS.

Whatever you say, Luchalibre.

Right on... Wait. Antman?? What the hell is wrong with Antman??

What was the plot of antman again, Im sorry, I almost fell asleep on that one. Marvel has this formulaic concept on how to make movies to the point where every Marvel film feels the same. By the time Antman came along, the humor felt too familiar and story was barely memorable.

Eisenberg as Luther, no question. I actually enjoyed that Mandarin as actor bit. Probably the most ballsy thing Marvel has done ever. Unfortunately the main villain kind of dropped the ball so.... though the final battle with all the Iron Man suits was pretty sweet. The only standout scene from IM2 was the Rhodey vs Stark battle.

On the other hand BvS had Bruce Wayne's ground level point of view of Zod vs Supes, Batfleck crawling over the ceiling to get away from the police, Bruce's vision of the future (though I admit the action scene could have been better), alot of interesting moments for Supes as he tries to reconcile between being seen as a savior by some ppl and a disaster by others, the first time Supes and Batfleck meet, their battle (which is GOAT), the Warehouse fight scene, Wonder Woman's entrance.

Sure the motivations for the characters are wonky, and Luther is ridiculous, but there are so many great moments in the film and it did alot of interesting things that I did not expect them to do. Personally I had a better time watching it then I had Civil War.

My thought is BvS is underrated. The iteration of Batman was one of the best we've seen on film so far. Affleck was not only real solid but the sequence where Batman takes out the guys at the warehouse was some legitimately awesome action. I'm willing to concede that the particular scene was the best hand to hand combat scene in any batman movie.

Plus I actually really liked Supes' story in that film. When they had like the Charlie Rose documentary segment, I thought that accurately captured the notion of how torn people would feel about his presence.

The biggest problem I had with the film was Luthor. Really disliked Eisenbergs interpretation and though the whole luthor as architect of the heroes' feud was very fabricated.

Full cut, obviously. It has what we like to call in the film industry signature non-diegetic sound. A memorable sound, a distinct tone. Instantaneously recognizable when heard. As-similar to film franchise epics like Star Wars, LOTR, Harry Potter, Nolan's Batman trilogy. This is one of the facets of Marvel and their cinematic universe that I find fault with. The only memorable sound is GOTG, and that's not original, abet used very well and to great success. There was a great youtube video that gained significant traction and popularity about this specific issue within the MCU.

Snyder had many valid criticisms, but I enjoy how he creates atmosphere in his movies. He brings a real sense of mood onto the screen, the comic book world envisioned. Watchmen, 300, BvS. Visceral.

I don't think I could sit through it again, but I don't really care for Marvel movies either.

Also non-diegetic is a five-syllable word for any thought too big for little minds.

SAVE MARTHA!!!!!!!

There were epic moments in BvS, but they didn't feel authentic. DC's cinematic universe has obviously been rushed. Superman origin movie, then he dies in the next one... Too soon. Should have built the foundations. Developed the character, his relationships, the specific universe. Same problem with Logan for me, although a bit different because Logan's disconnect wasn't a lack of previous titles, rather a specific timeline inconsistency following major time travel activity.
