Bane vs Joker

Lbsh. Bane would destroy the Joker. Joker just wouldn't care.

Im not a joker fanboy at all, I enjoyed both portrayals in the nolan films. And while I admit that Bane would brutally bash the joker one on one, I refuse to accept that the joker wouldnt be able to exploit that mask to full effect, Bane cant fight with any level of control when the mask is damaged, and is basically a bull in a china shop when it is damaged.

Seriously? Compare sentence 1 to sentences 2 and 3.
 
I think the only time joker was able to beat Batman in the comics was when he had gained near omnipotence by stealing mr. Mxyzptlk's powers. In other words, Joker had to go to the most extreme of measures to beat Batman while Bane did it in his first go against the flying rodent man.

If both bad guys happen to find themselves in your average building or park together and are both suprised by that fact (read:no prep time for either) then Bane today, tomorrow and next year.

Bane trained in both hand to hand combat and weaponry combat. Again, wtf does Joker have to offer bane again? Give joker a fucking sword and Bane a pocket knife and Bane still takes this 10/10.
 
one on one its obvious Bane takes it. Silly question.

However, put Joker and his gang against Banes gang, battle of wits, I would say Joker.

Batman beat Bane (and he was old and out of shape). He didn't beat Joker.
 
Whenever I consider match-ups, the first thing I have consider is that both combatants must display their strengths and often those things go beyond physical ability. It's the most entertaining fight to see people do what they do, and then take the best of each to see who would win.

But who wants reality in fiction? Even in reality! When I considered RASHAD VS JON JONES, I never considered that Rashad would employ the softest gameplan known to man. We want to believe these guys will perform at their utmost. That we will see the best of them. To see them take what the other has and overcome.

At the end of the day, Joker takes this one. Bear in mind, he does survive his film whereas Bane doesn't. Who knew? All you had to do was shoot him.

Why do you all keep overlooking the mask? Bane can barely function without it, any hard enough shot to the face can damage it and thats it, feckin Gordon could have beaten bane if he pistol whipped him hard enough, if bane sneezed hard enough he could incapacitate himself for crying out loud.
 
On Batman vs Bane, Bane fought a past his prime batman coming off a layoff and a shitload of injuries. Just something to consider.

I`d take Bane most of the time, but Joker is really unpredictable, he`d probably blow Bane away with a boozooka or some other explosive atleast a few ptimes out of 10.

And Nolans Joker was no coward.
