Bane vs Joker

I thought Bane's mask only gets rid of the pain, not give him super power? How is that a weakness?

When the mask is damaged it causes bane so much pain that he goes into berserker mode and gasses out, batman then procedes to brutally tko him

Yeah. And he smashed Batman in hand-to-hand combat. Batman won the rematch but that doesn't change the fact. Bane could have killed him if he wanted to.

Joker would never be able to beat Batman in a physical confrontation.

Yes bane hammered him first time, but in the rematch bane was done as soon as the mask was backhanded, is it crazy to say that the joker would be able to take advantage of such a crippling achilles heel?
 
Even wih prep time, Joker still loses. Remember this is Nolan versions of both.

Joker with prep time: stole from a bank, captured two hostages, took two ships hostage, crashed a party, blew up a hospital, & tricked some crime bosses.

Bane with prep time: Took the entire city hostage (millions), nearly killed Batman, took money out of the stock exchange, put every cop underground, blew up a football stadium, brought complete anarchy into the entire city and released every prisoner

Bane still stomps.
 
Bane is a boring villain with a Sean Connery voice. Joker is 10x the villain would have exploited his stupid mask weakness.

Joker is getting massively overrated simply because of a movie. Prior to pos crisis era, he was cheesy as fuck in the comics. Like literally face palm worthy shit.
 
Bane wins in more or less any type of confrontation. The hand to hand combat idea is ridiculous. Bane could beat him even with the mask off. The Joker has little to no hand to hand combat skills. His only strength was really his craziness and ability to mastermind crazy plots. In reality, Bane even beats him here. Bane is a martial arts expert and an extremely intelligent super villain. He made far less mistakes.

I TS may be confusing which one was a more interesting super villain than more effective. Bane wins on all accounts in being the more effective super villain. The Joker is much darker and creepier in all accounts, but he cannot even compare to Bane for effectiveness.

to be fair though man, batman had to take his lumps in the second fight even to get to the mask. and when he did disable it it was because he ripped right through the damn thing with the gauntlets (the very part of his costume he ripped off from the league of shadows anyway- irony). joker might be able to strategize how he can get to that mask but he's gotta be worried about getting KTFO, curbstomped before he does.

also little fun fact from IMDB trivia- the gauntlets on batman's costume are used in the critical moment that he gets the upperhand over the lead villain in all three films:

in Batman Begins- he breaks Ras' sword with them

in Dark Knight- he uses the detachable ones to fuck up joker's face before Joker can trigger the explosion.

and in Dark Knight Rises that's how he takes out Bane's mask.

This. TS sounds like he just wants to give the joker a win.

Even if The Joker pulls of the mask, there's not muh The Joker can do after that. Bane knees him and splits his face open and finishes him off by strangling whatever life he has left.

Bane is physically and mentally better than him in every aspect.
