I'm not on the Finney hate train, but I think Bekoev is a bad match-up for him. He's coming off a fight camp against Loder who's more or less a one-dimensional MMA wrestler and is exceedingly good at grounding dudes and beating them up. The defensive grappling he showed in that fight along with the ability to gain separation and land impactful strikes seriously impressed me.

I'm not convinced Finney's technical wrestling or physicality is on a sufficiently different level for him to succeed where Loder couldn't. If it stays standing I know Finney has some power in his hands and isn't afraid to swing for the fences, but the same is true for Bekoev and he is the slightly more polished/experienced striker of the two IMO.
