I was thinking the Mind Stone so he can create new mutants like they did with Quicksilver and S.W. He could make Hydra a force again. It also gave them powerful weapons.

Wasn't it the Space Stone that Red Skull tried to use and sent him away?

Mind Stone would also be a good choice. In the comics, a clone of the Red Skull fuses part of Charles Xavier's brain with his own, giving him vast telepathic abilities. The Mind Stone give the user the ability to control other people. Mind control is very useful for any Fascist dictator;)

And yeah, it was the Space Stone that forced the Skull to become the Stone Keeper. Shout out to @PRIDEWASBETTER for correcting my mistake:oops:

Interesting thing I hadn’t thought about before with TFA.

Zola says the tesseract will provide unlimited energy. They harness the energy to create weapons. When people got shot up and disappeared; did they die? — or teleport?

Also, how the hell didn’t Howard Stark harness the stone?

Fair question, but I think the Tesseract merely provided the energy to power the weapons, which were designed to kill.

I believe Howard used the Tesseract as a basis to create the first Arc Reactor.

Such an awesome movie. Already amped to give it another watch on Blu-ray. The only thing that bothers me (and it’s easy to excuse but I just find it a bit narratively lazy) is that Thanos says to Gamora that he counted on her coming to Knowhere. Yet he should have no idea that the Guardians know where he is going because he has no reason to believe they were aware of the location of the Aether, and certainly has no reason to assume Thor survived, was picked up by Gamora and co. and shared this information with them...

He's operating on the counter-intuitive principle that anyone with knowledge of the stones would go to protect them, even though reasonably those people (esp. Strange, Vision, Gamora) should have been heading in the opposite direction (like Tony advised, and then reversed position). Narratively, Thanos elected to mostly to wait for things to come to him until he had to go to them.

We'll see in the next movie but the prevailing theories and beliefs are that Hulk not coming out had nothing to do with him being scared and everything to do with the growing rift and fight over control between him and Banner.

In Thor Ragnarok, Banner spoke specifically about how scary it was being locked away inside Hulk for years and yet Banner always locks Hulk away for years at a time. Banner says he hates Hulk every chance he gets and yet calls on Hulk to save him ("come on big guy") every time Banner gets himself in a trouble spot. So Hulk basically said F-You to Banner and refused to save his ass.

If that theory ends up being correct then Hulk not coming out will have made perfect sense.
If Avengers were a romance drama, I could understand Hulk being difficult, but it's a super hero movie for crying out loud.

This was way better than the camera work in the Battle of Wakanda

You can clearly see what's going on and it's at a perfect pace while in Wakanda, you pretty much have to either rewind or check out gifs online to see every little thing Cap and Panther were doing. The trailers made it look way better then it really is.
Looks like a fucking cartoon.

I think that is my favorite 'mass' attack fight scene from any movie. Although the Battle of Stirling Bridge is right up there for me in terms of generating the feels.

Could make for an interesting poll on best mass attack battle scene.

Braveheart was th3 best there ever was but, again, its a disservice to discuss it. I dont think of war battles when i think of marvel. They happen to have 1 here n there and if its not perfect, i simply do not care.

That tweet surprises me. I thought for sure the stones would be gone by the end of Avengers 4.
Yeah. Honestly, after the conclusion of this, fuck them stones. Theyre merely a plot driver at the moment.
