However, it does throw a wrench in my casting for Mr. Sinister seeing as Ray Stevens also played Volstagg.

They butchered Toad and Sabretooth as well. Bummed me out, because I really like Sabretooth. When they set up Mr. Sinister at the end of the last movie, my first thought was honestly noooooo. Don't turn another villain I really like into a power rangers reject.


Although now that marvel is getting the rights back I see lots of potential. Do a few villains they haven't done yet, then circle back and give us better versions of all the ones fox fucked up before. Give fans a few years to forget.

Great point. So many possibilities now that Disney has the rights. MCU X-Men has a ton of potential. I always felt like the series was pretty hot and cold overall. I figure we will see more consistency now.

also lol at Toad. I like Ray Park a lot though. Legend. Darth Maul, Headless Horseman in Sleepy Hollow, dude is cool.

Toad was trash though and Halle Berry delivers one of the lines that to this day baffles me.

"You know what happens when a toad gets struck by lightning..."

I remember sitting there in the theater as an adolescent and just assuming she was going to say, "it croaks" which, while awful kind of adds up.

Instead she says, "the same thing that happens to everything else."

Ridiculous. What a clunky line. It always just stood out to me as bad because they set it up as though she is going to say something badass, clever or memorable.

Pretty sure I've suggested it before, but I think Strong has the Sinister look. But wasn't he ins one of those Green movies that's in one of the universes? But who cares

I don't see why they couldn't do it. He was barely recognizable in Thor and it wasn't a big role.

I thought Toad was a big improvement on the comic book version. At least he could bang, bro.

Ironically, the closest we got to the, "real" Sabertooth was in Wolverine: Origins. The film was a dumpster fire, but Schreiber was fucking chilling as Creed

Perfect choice, IMHO. Strong can deliver the, "Evil Gentleman" type in his sleep.

Agree with the first two, but prefer Thor burying Stormbreaker in Thanos' chest, or Iron Man getting curb-stomped on Titan for the third

Strange was great in this movie I'm really glad they brought this character into the universe. He's way different than the other characters and I just enjoy his "universe" so to speak. I enjoyed his origin story a lot other than I felt he became to powerful to quickly. I have a feeling his next solo movie is going to be really good.
