I wonder if they will take a page out of J.K. Rowling book 7 of Harry Potter. She spent the whole series introducing and character building for many beloved characters only to have like half of them die in the final battle.

Also, would Cap wielding Mjolnir against Thanos even be a big deal? I mean it'll just be a quick nod to comic fans. I can't see Cap doing much with Mjolnir if Thor couldn't.

Yeah I'd like to see some members of the Avenger's team off. Really any of the ones that have been around. I don't want to see any die but would raise the stakes.

Nick Fury will probably die. It will have some emotional impact without being THAT big of a deal because he's not a huge asset to the team in the MCU. Hawkeye'll probably die too. Whedon was hitting all the usual "this guy is going to die" tropes with Hawkeye during AoU only to have Quicksilver die instead.

I wonder if Deadpool will play apart in this since Death is officially involved in the plot.

The movie rights to Deadpool belong to Fox. The MCU is Disney. No chance Deadpool has anything to do with this movie. Also, Deadpool was not a part of the Infinity Gauntlet story in the comics.

I love that idea... it wasn't exactly executed well but I really think it's awesome. Thanos is in love with Lady Death and has been banished from her realm, therefore the only way to stop him is to get him to romantically play a boom-box over his head just outside The Lady's realm...a task I feel Peter Quill and his mixed tape are uniquely suited for..

Quill was taken in 1988, Say Anything came out in 1989. I'm afraid that is a reference he would not get. Maybe Quill is playing music around the team all movie then Cap and Iron Man turn to one another and scream "SAY ANYTHING". Iron Man pops his suit speakers out as Cap lifts him up over his head and this plays.

Lady Death turns towards the music then she and Thanos lock eyes, Dr Strange hits her with a powerful love spell. Avengers win and they all sing the song together as Thanos and Death walk arm in arm into the sunset.

Also got to put together my part 4 of 4 Avengers credit montage.
