Rumor: Plot Details for AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Finally Revealed?

Thanos-Avengers-Infinity-War-092016-Dragonlord.jpg

According to LMR, sources have told the site several alleged plot points of Avengers: Infinity War

Unlike the other major Marvel Comics crossover arcs that have had their exact names stolen for the big screen (Age of Ultron and Civil War, for example), Avengers: Infinity War is going to start with the exact premise of the "Infinity Gauntlet" comic book crossover series as opposed to the actual "Infinity War" storyline.

For the non-geeks: "Infinity Gauntlet" is the crossover where Thanos obtains and wields the Infinity Gauntlet with all the Infinity Gems. "Infinity War" is Adam Warlock fighting Magus, and those characters don't look like they are part of the equation this time out.

Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War will feature the Mad Titan Thanos trying to impress the personification of Death (who will be a woman). Thanos assembles all six Infinity Stones and utilizes the Gauntlet to have god-like powers. His grand plan is that Death will also feel love for him if he brings her enough "souls," so he decides to extinguish half the life in the universe to impress her.

Death - the personification of death - is going to be in Avengers: Infinity War. Previous fan rumors have noticed that Cate Blanchett's Hela could substitute for the Death character in the comics. The site can only confirm that Death is in the movie and is female.

So far, on the hero side, we already know the Avengers will show up, as will the Guardians of the Galaxy team. The site is reporting that Nick Fury will also be making his grand return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

So i would say that it is Death as the women that was seen on set for Thor...

I wonder if Deadpool will play apart in this since Death is officially involved in the plot.

Do you know if Adad Warlock will be part of the Avengers movie or are they just bypassing him all together?

Nah. Deadpool movie rights belongs to Fox.
Sony..........Spiderman..........But you are probably right. Plus the crossover would only give us a waterdowned Deadpool, and that's something no one wants to see again.

There's no concrete report yet on whether Adam Warlock will appear or not and it's still very early in production.

I think it's very likely Spider-Man will show up in Infinity War.

Yes.

There's no concrete report yet on whether Adam Warlock will appear or not and it's still very early in production.

I will go with it as the Marvel U movies have been actually really good -- MUCH better than any of the DC movies. But I do wonder why they would ignore such a major character in the Marvel Universe - especially after dropping several hints in other movies.

figured he would be a LOCK to not only be in Avengers IW but also GOTG 2.

Personally, I was hoping they would not go with the Thanos-pining-for-Death route. It didn't sit well with me back then and even now.

I can almost guarantee Vision will die.

The movie format is very restrictive in what they can and cannot do. Sure, Adam Warlock was a key player in the Infinity saga but they have to juggle what is right for their overall plan. Would Adam's presence makes sense? Maybe it'll feel shoehorned?

All that said, Adam could still appear. But I'm not getting my hopes up.

To give you a glimmer of hope Adam might appear, they're going to bring Ayesha (played by giraffe-turned-human Elizabeth Debicki) in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Ayesha a.k.a. Kismet a.k.a. Her is the female version of Adam Warlock for those unfamiliar with the character.

Yeah I'd like to see some members of the Avenger's team off. Really any of the ones that have been around. I don't want to see any die but would raise the stakes.

Well it is one of the main pillars of Thanos...not that they haven't change lots of other shit.
