I think a bunch will die, then, after a deus ex machina to turn the tide in favor of our beloved heroes, somebody will use the gauntlet to bring everybody back to life.

It'll be Widow, imo.

Omg Thanos is the ultimate friend zoned loser

Anything outside Death's realm is the friend zone to him
I remember seeing a comic where Deadpool and Thanos go on a search for Death together. After all the shit they go through to find her, Death is head over heels for Deadpool, not Thanos. You'd think he'd get the hint at that point

Like most prick-teasers, Death only comes close to putting out when Thanos finally gives her the, "I'm over you, bitch" speech and moves on. She then tries to win him back. This was a Thanos limited series and I'm not sure how it ended. Most likely with Thanos still having magenta balls, though.

There are no more arrow tricks that'll impress the audience. He needs to go. Plus, the Avengers are probably gonna be a bit bloated by the time Infinity Wars rolls around. It's time to cut the fat which means taking out the Avengers who were just there to fight fodder.

Hawkeye, Black Widow, Nick Fury need to be gone

I agree, especially with getting rid of Black Widow. She sucks. Hawkeye is cool, but not extremely necessary. Nick Fury is basically there for pep talks. Toss him.

The deus ex machina? Or the dearly departed?

nrither would surprise me.
One would irk the f out of me.

Well, let's just say she was the one who was able to get the scepter and use it to close the Chitauri portal. I could see the same happening with the IG. I, for one, wouldn't mind it if it's done right. I have a feeling I'd be in the very, very small minority, though.

Doctor Strange Confirmed for AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

Doctor-Strange-Avengers-Infinity-War-092616-Dragonlord.jpg

Rumors have already been circulating suggesting that Doctor Strange will make an appearance in Thor: Ragnarok. That would be Doctor Strange’s first Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover appearance. Benedict Cumberbatch seemingly just confirmed his second.

Speaking Empire Magazine about Doctor Strange’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Cumberbatch noted the “logistical challenge of aligning his schedule with those of Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany”.

Downey, Evans, Olsen, and Bettany are, of course, the actors who respectively play Iron Man, Captain America, Scarlet Witch, and Vision of the Avengers. The next film on Marvel’s schedule that it would make sense for all four of those characters to appear in Avengers: Infinity War.

“To get us all together will be quite something,” Cumberbatch continued. “That’s why this character is being introduced, to open up the next chapter. So watch this space to see how that unfolds.”

Stan Lee Has Already Filmed His Cameos for Four Marvel Studios Movies

Kevin attended a special screening of Captain America: Civil War last week and talked about Stan Lee at a following Q&A. It was there that the Marvel Studios President praised the comic creator for shooting four cameos for four different films during a recent trip to Atlanta.

When asked whether Stan’s cameos were random or not, Kevin told the audience each character was created carefully for the writer.

“We do not shoot random ones. They're always very specific,” Kevin explained. “A couple of months ago in Atlanta, he flew down and we shot four in one day -- for four various projects. They're all awesome! They're all totally different. And he was unbelievable. He was on fire. He came in, he sat here, he stood there, he stood in this window, and then he went home.”

Fans will remember that Stan even commented on these cameos earlier this year. However, at the time, reports surfaced that the writer had only filmed three cameos during his visit to Atlanta. At Canada’s Fan Expo, Stan confirmed he had filmed three clips for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Doctor Strange.

As for what the fourth cameo might be, fans are speculating the footage may be used for Thor: Ragnarok or even Avengers: Infinity War as the ensemble blockbuster is prepping to shoot down south.

Stan also told fans that one of these recent cameos stands as his favorite of all time. The creator told audiences at Denver Comic Con, “It's hard to pick my favorite cameo, because as you know, they're all masterpieces. Unfortunately, this will frustrate you a little: I have a favorite because I can't tell you what it is because it hasn't appeared yet....I had to go and do three cameos for three movies at the same time. One of the cameos I did is for...”

These movies can't come out fast enough. I'm gonna hate myself for ever thinking that by the end of 'The Movie Formerly Known as Infinity Wars 2'.

On the final part of my Avengers 3 credits layout (4 of 4) with different versions of the character done by top comic artists surrounding the actor.

Actor in the Iron Man/Cap area, then you have 5 spots surrounding: One version to our left (Ronin), one diagonal up to the left (Cage & Spider-Woman spot), top center (Sentry), then diagonal right (Spidey) and finally to the right (Wolverine).

I limited each artist to 5 characters (or character groups) so I didn't just use my favorite artists for everyone. If anyone has an artist that I didn't think of, make a note. Part 1 is on Page 6 (Featured attraction: Thor). Part 2 is on Page 7 (Featured attraction: Dr Strange). Part 3 is on Page 10 (Featured attraction: Captain Marvel on pg 12).

Thanos is a bad mofo. I really hope they get him right. I was so looking forward to seeing Apocalypse on the big screen but they absolutely fucked that up bigger than shit. I really hope that's not the case for Thanos.

Since Thanos is the big bad of the MCU he gets the Top 5 feature spot.
