Did anyone catch when Thanos was interrogating the Collector how he said "where is the stone?" I thought Brolin was paying homage to Benicio Del Toro when he said it in Snatch. He said it with the same inflection in his voice and everything.

It is.. still a fun movie just didn't like it as much as you guys, glad you enjoyed it more.

I think part 2 would be better just by the nature of it, more unpredictability in the ways they save the day and more time to shine less doom and gloom.
 
PS: Whedon would have made a worse movie so it's good they had this brothers, they did the best you could expect I guess so many characters and time to shine for all was a hard thing to pull off.
 
Can we talk about how disappointing teenage Groot was. Regular Groot was a badass, Baby groot is like the best character of all time, and then all he does is play gameboy WTFFFFFFF

First Groot was the best for me.. baby one is cute and all and this teenage one i'm kinda neutral to him.

I think they got sent to a different dimension. I think the people left will be in the next avengers movie, then we get another with the other people in their dimension and they find a way to come back.

you dont know and neither do i. Youre just choosing to act like you know,so the movie doesnt resonate with you. Id hate to pretend i know whats gonna happen to ruin a movie for me.

Yes, and personally I think that's the big one that might never be beaten. Even the original Star Wars couldn't do it.

Guess it depends on what counts as the foreseeable future. I'd be pretty surprised if $2.7 billion hasn't been surpassed by 2030. The Avatar sequels are scheduled for release from 2020-2025, one of them could do it and I wouldn't be shocked.
