Not have Odin commit suicide in Ragnarok. Maybe he's still a hobo on earth and the Avengers or Strange find him. He puts up a good fight with Thanos but ultimately dies. Gives everyone else time to get away in the process and regroup.

I thought his ending in Ragnarok was lame.

But Ragnarok happens because he dies. So Thanos would have to fly to earth, kill him, then be like "peace out dudes, see you later."

I thought Vision and Dr Strange were fucking bad asses, but they consistently get the shit kicked out of them. I have no idea who is more powerful than who.

Vision without phasing powers is a weak sauce apparently, shoulda learned how to fight instead of relying on being walkthrough.

Wow did anyone notice this? He was disguising the Time Stone as a star the whole time.

I could have watched this movie hundreds of times and never caught that.

Can someone tell me what is the Soul Stone? I didn’t see Thanos use that or the mind stone. The best was obviously the special fx they could do with the reality stone and time stone.
We also didn’t get to see Thanos use the space stone unless transporting himself to different planets count.

Another’s thing that had me confused is how the avengers knew Thanos was so powerful in the first place and vision already had a contingency plan to kill himself instead of just fight. And how dr strange willingly gave up his time stone after not even liking tony that much

Was there any reason why Thanos only sent his closest henchmen after the infinity stones on Earth?

Ebony Maw and the big guy after Dr Strange, and Corvus Glaive and the big chick after Vision.

Instead of sending them plus an enormous intergalactic army, like the one they unleashed in the final battle.

Same question for when Thanos went solo to Titan.

The smaller groups attract less attention. The last gem had the most resistance. No reason to think Thanos or his henchmen didn't know that.

Given that they've already filmed A4, I don't see him being in it. However, if they choose to merely defeat, not kill, Thanos, you have some potential down the line with Warlock and Thanos.

The soul stone can control life and death. So he needed it to kill everyone. He also uses it to turn a bunch of rubble into flying creatures on Titan. I think he used the space stone on Banner at the end to phase him into the rock.

Banner told the Avengers who Thanos is. And Strange told Banner all about the stones when he was in the sanctum. People suspect that Strange saw that Tony was essential to the 1 victory outcome he saw and that's why he gave up the stone for his life.

Anyway, we’ve never seen USADA Thanos without stones in action so who knows. I’ll assume he’d get his ass kicked pretty handily by Dormannu. So would USADA Surtur. Flame (PEDs) Surtur vs Dormannu is really anyone’s guess.

LOL ya Surtur. I've never heard of him before Ragnarok. Hmm.. good question. Weak Thor beat flameless Surtur easily. Has to be powered up Surtur.

why would introduce a character that has only ever been teased in GotG movies to kill the big bad in an Avengers movie?
